My name is dragonxp. Simple statement right? Well let's begin with some background about the name. I suppose it looks rather odd maybe like, 'dragon experience' or something. But truly it was based upon windows xp, being my favorite windows OS to date so far. Mainly because it was the best OS for modding, very little restrictions, very few problems, and the list goes on. I'm sure you guys all know that so I suppose I'll move on. So I'm a pixeler and graphic artist. I do have a deviant art located here: http://gunoldbil.deviantart.com/. The history behind my deviant art name is simply a name generated from a game known as carnage blender [I think?] which I had been a dragon thus, giving birth to the name Gunoldbil. I'm also a PC Gamer which enjoys a variety of RTS games and MOBA games including, CnC, Wc3. Sc2, HoN, LoL, DotA2, CoH etc... So I'm male and 16 and a high school student [too many ands i think], I'll be (hopefully) in the faculty of engineering in university. But that's all boring news. If you really want to listen me ramble about this you can see my blog here: http://gamers-tag.blogspot.ca/. [Trust me, it's rather boring to read]. I suppose a useful skill upon this forum would be my ability to draw using pixels. However, I'm not the best and (hopefully) not the worst but I try. There are three other forums I must thank which attributed to this development: http://picturewars.net/smf/index.php, http://forums.datarealms.com/index.php and https://forum.kag2d.com/. The former is a forum called picture wars, and if any of you are into pixeling I suggest you check it out. You basically sprite wars. Your sprites versus another player's sprites where the goal is to create the most entertaining story possible for other viewers. Of course eventually you win in some spectacular way. I don't frequent it as much since they moved sites but still an awesome community. The second I may be considered a veteran [I think?]. If you were to sort the members in post count in descending order I'd be 17th. However, I'm not quite as active as I once was. Mainly because my curiosity for the game's inner coding and what i could with it has faded away. If there was a way to regain this curiosity I would. The final one is a forum for a game a veteran Datarealms user created by the name of Geti, it minorly contributed to my development because I did skin the archer, however I did not frequent the forums very much, but I think you should still check it out. Especially since KAG has a style similar to Terraria. Datarealms forums is for a game called Cortex Command by the way. Which reminds me, the reason this game caught my eye was because of the Datarealms thread: http://forums.datarealms.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=30754. Which because of my love of terraria and minecraft instantly sparked my interest. I'm here to stay (I hope) and I sincerely will try to be a productive and helpful member of community. Thank you for reading/listening. TL;DR - I said Hi.
Welcome to the forums dragonxp! That was quite a lot to read, but hey, I lived! If you have any questions feel free to message me!
Hello and welcome to the Forums, dragonxp! If you need anything, send me a message, and I'll do my best to help. I hope that you enjoy your stay here! By the way, I laughed at the TL;DR.

Greetings and salutations like tiger and mrhighseas said you can pm them or you can pm pretty much anyone here where a real friendly community here which you probable are figuring out now anyways. I to am using windows xp because its still awesome although I can only use half of the ram in my computer because of it age but hey I can still run games on max well maybe not crysis PS you said your a fan of RTS games have you played stronghold crusaders?
Nice, I haven't heard of this game before but I might be inclined to search it now. Uh no, it's either UnityWar, Gunoldbil or dragonxp
ya I know what you mean its still my favorite RTS up there with AOE2 but I find you fall in a strategic rut but still all the things you can do in the game is still quite impressive even for a game today. also stronghold crusaders extreme is well extreme larger army's faster game play and the power to rain boulders on your enemy's weapons smiths have never felt better.
I would love to I have fond memory's of playing it after school with friends I still compare all other RTS games to Aoe2 it just hit the mark perfectly but sadly I cant play it anymore I think its my graphics card but ever 5-10 min it crashes or every time I click the diplomacy button It might also be a direct x problem if anyone has a fix please let me know its a common problem I believe.
I used to go to the Cortex Command forums. Silly memories, hehe. On the chat sub forum there's a LoL thread if you wish to play with us. I play some Dota2 too. Anyways, welcome!
Sorry I didn't respond immediately; I was researching. But yeah, I always thought that there were two kinds of resource "modes" so to speak. The first one is where you just build a resource collector, and there is only one type of resource. The other kind is where different things require different resources, like Stronghold, The Settlers, or Age of Mythology, all of which I enjoy immensely. The reason I stopped playing RTSs was the fact that they take hours to play each game, and in something like Minecraft or Terraria, you can just play for however long you have. But I've been meaning to get the Settlers 7 and Stronghold Crusader Extreme.
