...And for some reason has only just decided to follow its development today. Weird, huh? *Ahem* Yes, greetings all members of this here forum. My name is the Edditaur, but on the other forum I'm part of everyone pretty much calls me Edd. So if you're into abbreviations of names and such, then you're welcome to call me that as well. Keep things informal, y'know? But first, a short history lesson on myself: So yeah, I'm an uh, "migrater", so to speak, from Re-Logic's Terraria. I used to play that game like crazy, it was so much fun. ...And then they decided to stop updating it, which is fine, because it's their decision, but it didn't seem to last for long because of the console version coming out and stuff, overall it's made me less than pleased with the whole situation. So yeah, I found out about Starbound in like, Summer last year, I think? It looked kinda cool but I had it mostly off of my radar up until about a week ago, when I rediscovered that it was still being developed. And yeah, I'm suddenly a lot more interested in it's development now, it looks like a completely different beast at this time. Not to say I wouldn't have played it otherwise, of course. Anyway yeah, that's my story. I feel like I should start being a bit more social in regards to the games and devs that I'm a fan of, so I signed up here and I'll try and keep posting in the forums here and there. Also, I have to say the Forums has a very nice shine of presentation to it. Formal yet glossy. Very nice. Those trophies are also rather humerous, whoever came up with them deserves a pat on the back. ...Okay, I'm done now. c: Text wall over. (I uh, tend to ramble on a bit. Sorry about that.)
Welcome Edd! I'm sure you'll find yourself comfortable here, everyone is really anticipating the release. Like you said, these are wonderful forums, filled with even more wonderful people.
