No, if you read up you will see that Tiy has confirmed them being robot/metal trees

So A planet of synthetic/ cybernetic creatures. Awesome Idea, then again i tend to slide towards those things, robots and such.

 

All im gonna say is, if one touches me inappropriately, shits gonna go down and im gonna open up a good ol fashion Can o' Woopass! (100% pain garentee!)

 

I presume the majority of the items are actually made out of metal: Guns, lasers, armor, shields. Perhaps these trees will require a stronger woodsaw to cut them down and they'll drop metal resources to construct better items. Wooden walls aren't going to be much help in the future!

I think its probably going to be hardwood ,softwood ,metalwood etc. That way the trees still look different but drop the same thing.

wood trees = wood + tools (saw, knife, drill, axe, etc) = sticks/boards/panels/splintes/toothbicks/totempoles/masks/etc.

metal trees = metal + forge/smelter = liquid/malleable metal + anvil or mould = tools/weapons/armor/robot/circutry/endless possibilities?

 

I'm not sure if the trees are made out of metal or stone.
