So in my main file, I was dating everyone, and I finally managed to trigger the breakup scene for the girls, but not for the guys. I was wondering, has anyone, as of yet, found out if you can do anything about the effects of the breakup scene? Also, is there anything I have to watch out for when trying to trigger the guys' scene? I didn't have everyone at 10 hearts, but they're all single again, so I'm somewhat confused. EDIT: The girls have forgiven me, but still wondering if I can trigger the scene for the guys.
At first I thought this was about you being hated on these forums But I think you should specify what you mean a bit more, I.E. "Can you do anything about the effects of the breakup scene?" If you mean cause the one for the boys to happen then I think you may have just found a workaround to the scenes due to the fact you were dating everyone. Sorry if this didn't help.
While I have yet to see the scene myself-- in the first place I was never one to play with affections, I only ever bouquet one villager per game-- I have seen some dissection of this on Reddit. Based on the reports, the 'hate' you get from the bachelors (and presumably bachelorettes) wears off in a relatively short time. One player has posted screen-shots of him making up with them within less than a season. (Eleven days, from the post.) So it seems like while the new mechanic is intended to discourage 'playahs', initial reports show it's not a permanent hit to your social standing, just a setback.
I never really considered my character a cad But I was interested in seeing all the 10 heart cut scenes. I wonder if there has been a change so that people can see all the cut scenes without giving out bouquets to everyone??
I doubt it considering that most of the cutscenes pretty much assume that you're in a serious relationship.
