So... Beta sector, yeah.....

Passed straight to gamma without even going there... Anyone else?

 

It's not required to go there, as steel can be made from iron, which is found in Alpha. That being said, I still went there for the sake of exploration.

 

What all does Beta add?

better weapons/gear so you dont get murdered in gamma?

 

Hmm, best armor you can get in Beta is one, made from steel - you can get materials for it in Alfa. Same with weapons. Ofc, you can farm for hours for a random uber +3 dps weapon (compared to steel one)... Care to tell us about "better weapons\gear" in Beta sector?

 

beta sector unlocks uranium, i believe. and diamond too i think. t

 

I've been stuck in Alpha for too long now. Do I simply dig deeper a la Terr- er.. [THE GAME THAT WILL NOT BE NAMED]...
If so, how far? And is the wait worth it?

 

Saying Terraria is not wrong on the forums here, saying that it's a ripoff well...then we got a problem.

However, you didn't answer my question.

 

To get further you need to kill bosses to get items that will make either a new crafting station that let's you build
a card that lets you go to the new universes..ses, or the boss drop a item that just let's you craft the card ( boss 3-4 does this )

Basically beta lets you instantly build a pissed of android who waves you along to gamma sector. gamma at least takes a little bit to farm the titanium. Mayhaps the brain gun should be used on something or someone only in the beta sector? At least make me look at a glorified alpha sector lookalike planet with a b in front of it? Dunno, looking for some dura steel at the mo.
