Snow......thousands of blocks down.....

Okay, so I went sperlunking and have been mining for a few hours getting steadily deeper and deeper and after what feels like thousands of blocks down I just hit a snow, ice and slush area for about 200 blocks.....don't planets usually get warmer towards the middle?

 

I think planet composition overall seems kinda wonky atm; snow hundreds of blocks deep and huge areas made of sand and/or gravel that collapse at the slightest provocation

 

It's a thing of beauty. Destroying one small section and then it all starts tumbling down. It's magic.

 

Sounds much lovelier than the cavern full of human-like bones littering the ground that I found, and don't forget the man eating dinosaurs, never forget those! *shivers*

 

I also found one of these ice caverns I went in and froze to death in less than a minute

 

I absolutely love it, whose to say what is or isn't possible in this universe?

As for the sand and gravel pits? They are truly epic, one wrong move and you find yourself scrambling and struggling to keep a hold of your bearings as the world literally falls apart beneath your feet, its a wonderful jolt of excitement!

 

I really love those sand gravel areas lol though i've died many a times just by the whole thing just falling hundreds and hundreds of blocks down though you get so much ore from it and heck i found a tree growing eyeballs so yeah i think anything goes i don't think they went for super realism

 

Here on Earth they found a cave so giant that it has its own weather system. Complete with clouds, a river, a bunch of lakes and streams, hills and a forest.
