Snow Biome

How many of you enjoy the snow biome? I tried it once with a friend and I wasn't really prepared. I would like to try it again. Any tips before moving to the biome again?

 

Get lots of leather and make the snow infantry armor as it keeps you very warm in the snow place.

 

Make a full set of Winter clothes before going - You're going to hate being cold otherwise. I just moved to my first snow planet in the new build. It was... interesting. I managed to find two abandoned observatories and a Floran village (Yes - A jungle themed Floran village with huge trees...on a snow planet) right next to each other.

 

craft the armor that requires only leather using the loom (i think they call it a yarn spinner or something?)

it is highly insulated and helps keep your character warm. furthermore, it only costs leather, so quickly grinding through a few monsters with your bow make it an easily attainable set.

That's because it IS a spinner? A loom looks completely different

 

Make a ton of campfires.

Just craft the Winter... combat? set of Hat, Chest piece and pants and you're good to go in regards to keeping warm on a snow planet.
