    What Big Damn Hero

    While entering the mines to farm mushrooms, the game kind of softlocked. black screen, cursor still there and could move the cursor, could open the menu and interact with that. Was able to get out of it by warping to the farm house through console, thankfully. It spat out this in SMAPI-

    This never happened yesterday, and since yesterday, the only things that changed were updating UI Info Suite, and a SDV beta update. I did have time frozen when this happened, but it also happen when I did not have time frozen. I did verify game files through steam to ensure I had all the correct files in case of file corruption/forgotten patched files.

      Hi @What. This seems to be a bug in today's Stardew Valley 1.3.13 beta update; each player now has their own mine chests, and that's what failed here.

          I want to try to force load the happy birthday mod but im not sure how to do it. I don't see any spot to put "Status": "AssumeCompatible" in the json.config file and when I try to add it to the json.metadata file for that mod it just spawns infinite error messages untill it crashes. How do I force load a mod. Or did I do that correctly but it just wont work anyways

            Well, you did! It force loaded. It's not compatible, so it crashed.

              @Pathoschild Crashes still occasionally happen. Haven't played on that save in a while, we've started a new one with just the normal amount of players and it still crashes every so often. Haven't been able to determine specifically what causes it. It's always the same though, day's over, everyone sleeps, boom it crashes.

                Here is the save. ^-^

                Edit: maaaaaaybe, the today's patch fixed it. I tried it to do the day but only with the farmhand stay still except for fulfilling a quest. it worked. After dinner we try it with full playing as we would normaly do and i will wrote down if it works. ^-^

                Edit²: It looks like it works now, thank you anyway for the fast help pathoschild. :D

                        Heya, first time coming back to SDV in a while and I decided to try the beta. Not all my mods have updates for it, I found out, but I decided that'd be alright, I'd be fine with some being skipped. I tried to update what I could, and the game does in fact load. None of my save files do, and attempting to load them loops me back to the beginning of the title screen? Sucks, but at least it sees that they still exist. Start a new game? Everything works perfectly fine... until gameplay should start. And then it just closes. And it keeps happening.

                        If anyone knows how to actually let me play the darn game, I'm all ears. I do not care about the multiplayer in the slightest; I just want to play solo and check out some of the new content.

                              Your issue is related to the recent update to the game. If you switch the game to English and walk past the Bus Stop it will work fine.

                                SMAPI not opening at all.....I followed all instuctions and tried every possible fix i could find online but i no matter what i do i cannot get the API exe to open, the regular exe for stardew opens fine but no matter how many times I try i cant get it to open. Im attempting to use the unlimited players mod. Any help at all would be awesome :)

                                    Game automatically crashes when I try running latest version of SMAPI beta. Restarted computer and reinstalled game, along with XNA, and I've removed all mods from the mod folder in addition to verifying the integrity of the game files. Still having this issue.

                                        I think there is a problem with Smapi or possibly one of the mods i'm using. When I buy the wedding ring from the traveling merchant the recipe never shows up for it. It also seems that quite a few others are having this problem. So we were wondering if you could look into it a tiny bit for us please :D

                                        The mods we are using in our game right now are
                                        Skull Cavern Elevator
                                        Unlimited Players

                                        Those are the only two mods we are using so I dont see how they could be effecting it
