Just tested. 1) My gold star blueberry jelly is all blue. No standard coloring. No white coloring. It's running perfect. 2) Can confirm mod no longer stops after saving. Reloaded the water tank on day 2. I feel wonderful! Thank you for fixing it despite having to work on your dissertation!
Yeah I am trying it out now myself it does seem to be pretty nice since it seems like the CJB Automation stopped applying the stars again on me. Only problem I have is that this mod adds in wine and juice so how do we still get the polyculture achievement to ship at least 15 of every item on the first tab?
I am filling these extra items in the machines manually. Besides the person, who writes the machine automation mod said that he will offer configuration files in the next major version, where the machines and different inputs of this and other mods can be added. With the actual version it can only collect, but in the new version it will be possible to fill them,
it works like automation did. long as you have a chest connected to the machine it will pull the parts out, least it works with my kegs/bins/furnace/recycling/tappers/and lightning rods/ My farm looks a bit like this for the exterior, and it pulls things from the tapped trees into the chest. https://stardew.info/planner/cba87aad-d5bc-4729-9757-a0c36cba6f0a/ Oh yeah I also have the CJB cheat menu that makes my furnaces and other normal machines faster if i want them to.
This mod is Awesome! I switched from CJBAutomation to the suggested automation mod in this thread. Works like a charm 100%.
I've got a little issue, and I suppose it is this mod. I've tried in about 3 different saves and in all of them, once I fix the bus and the Junimos do their thing, I cannot save. This is what the console displays (the OS is in Spanish, that's why some things are in Spanish. I can translate if that's an issue): I assume the fix you introduced to deal with the machines not working after a day has some weird interactions with the extra time the Junimo events add to the day. IDK. I hope it's fixable and I hope I'm reporting this to the right modder, lol. I just assumed it was this one because of the "Igorious.StardewValley.DynamicAPI.Objects.SmartColoredObject" deal, and because the situation made sense. Hope you're doing alright with your dissertation!
I see, there's problem during saving SeedShop. Do you have any «colored» items (Jelly/Wine/Juice/Pickles) in Pierre's Shop (in chests or machines)?
Is this mod FULLY compatible (I'm gonna guess no atm) with Pierre's More Crops mod atm? A few more questions while I'm here: 1. How is the mixer used 2. Now there can be different flour types, is there any advantage to say, amerynth flour vs wheat flour? 3. The 'Purple' star only applies to vinegar right? Is there any advantage to the purple star? And one suggestion: up the prices of wheat, vinegar, sugar, etc. at Pierres (and JoJo's - if they sell that stuff - never shopped there lol) so that it makes it more worth the while to use these wicked new machines you made. And been playing about a week (in-game) with this mod and there've been NO PROBLEMS at all. I FN love it !! Excellent work It lands in my TOP 3 mods list.
Glad you're enjoying the mod. It's really awesome. Having not used the mixer, nor gotten a purple star on my vinegar, I can only answer number 2. For all intents and purposes, I think the advantage to having flours for multiple crops is, well, assuming you use your Greenhouse for Ancient Fruits, then you'll only have the summer to make wheat. Amaranth grows in the fall, so that means you'll be able to make more flour. And some pretty good stuff needs flour.
I can only answer the first question. You use the mixer by putting a different wine (you may be able to use other items, I've only done wine) in from both sides. You get a combined product back, and if you use high quality items you can really improve your profits. You can technically put two of the same wines in, but I haven't tried that to see what happens.
I tried with two of the same wines. It just added up the value of the two, slapped on a purple star and made it an experimental fluid.
Like, in a chest inside the store? Then no. I do keep a chest with a few artisan goods back home, though. In case a villager has a craving, hehe. I do have 2 mods that I know affect the shop. One is PierresGeneralStoreMod, I think, which is a dependency for More Crops Mod. And a mod which allows you to buy packets of 10 seeds at Pierres, and stacks of 999 wood and such at Robin's (ShopExpander)
Could you add a compatibility with More Crops Mod? At least, allow the use of Rice from that mod when combined with your Drying Rack to make Rice usable with cooking? I should note that Rice Plants in MCM drop around 5 Rice units give or take, so it should take something around that to make a usable unit of Cooking Rice
The drying rack seems like a very good idea for this, rather than some exclusive and otherwise unecessary machine. This very much ties up the store-exclusive ingredients and makes them all craftable at home, that's what everyone wants, I think. That and new and remixed recipes using these new crops and outputs from machines.
ANother thing to add from MCM could be Sugar Cane being usable with the Tank, so that like Beets, Sugar can be made.
Yup. I think when Igorious comes back, it would be cool to bridge these mods. They are already working together on MCM because of the Pierre store mod they use, so it would be cool to tie that up into a solid crafting progression that at least makes those crops usable. Then it's off to recipes, which is also the best way to make MCM and machines mod more integrated into vanilla.
This is a very handy mod, great job. But it has a lot of weird things going on. I'm using v3.1.8 1) Take a look at the bundles, I donated regular wine before installing the mod, after installing the mod it changed to rabbit foot. Now I can not donate wine to the bundle any more, and I can not donate rabbit foot either. 2) My preserves jars produce two types(green and red) of cactus jelly that does not stack, I also do not have any silver or gold quality pickles or wine, so my bundles are screwed. I assume that both cactus jellies are of different quality but why are they colored differently? without the mod with the mod
My question for you is are you using the CJB Automation mod? Also try donating a rabbit's foot and see if you can once you get one (they have a rare chance to drop from the flying fish in the skull cave.)
Yes, I'm using CJB Automation mod. As I stated above, yes I tried using a rabbit's foot(I got lucky with my own rabbit) and wine both do not work, if a Machines mod is active. I did a bit of testing. WIthout a CJB mod I'm getting gold artisan goods from gold fruits. I wonder if the other automation mod is working. Thank you very much! I think that incompatibility with the CJB Automation should be stated in the first post, since that would've answered a lot of questions.
