I've noticed that wines (at least strawberry) are not accepted by Community Center bundles. This could apply to jams and pickles and affect gifting, as well. Will test...
i can report that the new release has no crashes on loading. As for machines blocking your defined inputs and cancelling the smartcolor on kegs and preserves, that's still happening, same as before.
Yeah. Can confirm that the situation's still the same with the colors and quality of artisan goods after a day has elapsed. The weird items in the collection are gone, though We'll wait until you're finished with your preparations, then!
Thirding confirmation. Game runs fine, but the wacky coloring still happens. Can't say anything about bundles since I only started using them after completing the Comm Center. Good luck with your dissertation, and may you earn that glorious Master's degree!
«Wacky coloring» is using white color, or just unsuitable color? If white — it's problem: I'm calculating it in moment of item creation and this behaviour is not expected. If unsuitable, it's another issue and requires just more complex algorithm.
please explain "wacky coloring". let's say an example I tried, just to be sure we're talking about the same thing here: I put pumpkin on a preserves jar. with igoirous mod running I get an orange jar of pickles. but sometimes i get one that is green. green is default vanilla pickle jar. igoirous mod is not working when this happens. is this what you're talking about? also, kegs are gone, i just saw an emerald stone. but anyone else please confirm because i think i already fixed this before this release by putting a springobjects.xnb with fixes for more crops mod, which probably overriden this little mix up with object id's before.
Sorry, I should've clarified that. Wacky, as in, white. Sometimes my full batch of 20 jellies is the right color. Sometimes, at least 25% of them are white. I only ever get default colors when I'm on the second day, but I think that goes with the mod stopping bug, rather than the coloring issue.
can you specify the produce where you got this bug so i can try to test myself? I'm stuck only using leftover crops from fall and so far none of these generate white versions, only smartcolor or vanilla, depending on the state of the mod engine. If we can pin this to specific item ID's, this will be a start in diagnosis. thanks in advance.
Strawberries. I'm in the last week of spring. My latest batch of 20 was all red (I mean I know jelly is normally red, but it also had a gold star). I'll continue to observe what happens with the next batch.
This is an awesome addition to the game! I dont know why but the mod works great until the start of a new day. In the meantime I am able to work around by restarting the game after it saves and a new morning starts. If I were to try to keep playing without a restart tho, none of the machines in this mod would work. Also, Jellies are not adopting your quality system. Everything else seems to work fine.
Yes that's one of the big bugs we're dealing with at the moment. It has to do with the mod shutting down whenever the game saves, because before, it used to crash on saving whenever someone left machines on overnight. So the shutdown was implemented as a workaround to make sure you got saves. Anyway, Igorious has to work on his dissertation for the rest of the month, so it's likely we'll have to wait a while before we can get a big fix of that. In the meantime, just keep doing what you described, restart the game for each new day.
alright.. thanks for your patience to take the time to explain what i am sure is somewhere in these 17 pages You are awesome!
Just doing what I can. I can't code, I can't sprite, so all I can do is share what info I can glean from discussion, as a way to support this mod that I love.
Have you updated to the latest version? There was a bug a few versions ago that did just that. It should've already been fixed.
