I would definitely love having this in SMAPI! Very convenient having both this and CJB together in one place.
Just curious, since this doesn't give xp. Can I farm the old fashioned way to get my xp up to 10, then use the scythe. Or do I have to level up to 10 and then install this mod?
If you're interested in the SMAPI version, you now gain XP from harvesting with the Scythe (just tested working)! I would have to go back and implement it in the Storm version if that's what you're interested in. I'm going to take a look at making sure crops that are supposed to drop seeds do before I release this SMAPI version though I think. I'll release it without that functionality if I can't figure it out over the next couple hours. If you're on the Storm version Harunan, you would need to level up to 10 first as the XP isn't implemented yet unfortunately.

File this one under 'stuff I didn't even know I needed so badly'. +1 Is there really a reason to swap from SMAPI to STORM if none of the mods I use need STORM?
From my understanding if you're just playing the game at this time not really. That may change down the road but right now no.

This mod works perfectly for me and saved me so much time. Only thing I noticed is that the scythe didn't work for crops in the Greenhouse, but I'm still able to harvest those manually with right click.
You're right, strange - looking into this now Edit: errr I'm not sure what was going on tbh. The same thing happened with the version in my mods folder, I rebuilt the mod and tested again and it worked lol. Uploading that version now.

Sorry to bug you but I don't seem to get any XP from harvesting with a scythe. I harvested a field of 72 Melons aswell as 63 Hops and 192 Blueberries, still Farming L9. It would be awesome if you could look it up. ^^
Just tested with the latest download on here, and I'm having the opposite problems - seems I've set the XP gain far too high! Have you got the latest version? And you're using the SMAPI version? (Storm version doesn't have XP gain implemented yet).
Just wanted to say that what meager corn crops I grew this season turns this fine mod into a sanity device for harvesting it. It was hell on earth trying to get all that corn before what with the yellow crown and yellow harvestables.
I'd download the version yesterday for SMAPI, I think I have the latest. Guess you can't help it then. Would have been an really awesome 'Quality-of-life' Mod but without the gain of experience it's unusable till farming level 10.
