Call me a noob, but whenever i download a file and try to extract it, i get an error saying the file is invalid, or corrupt. Am I doing something wrong?

 

If it happens to all files, I would believe whatever unzip program you are using is flawed, might I suggest 7zip, (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html) I myself use it and it is a very well done program in my view!

 

Thanks for the help, I also found out that google chrome doesn't like to download files correctly from this site. Don't know why so I tried IE and it worked without a hitch.

 

could you please update the all crops all seasons mod by cantorsdust as this mod isn't working with latest version of Stardew Valley.

 

Cannot get CJB Cheats Menu working. Pressing "p" and nothing happens. Log is attached. Anyone got an idea how I fix it? Or is it generally not working?

 

you are not using the patch, use the patch.

 

I was encountering this earlier. I noticed in the smapi loading logs it saying that there was no manifest in the listed directory.
This was happening because of the way I had extracted my mods from the zip file. It had created a new home folder, instead of extracting to the mod folder.

tl;dr - Make sure that your mod is directly based in its folder, and not in a subfolder.

Hi, I have SMAPI 1.4 and I have the CJB cheats menu in there but I can't get it to work. I've never modded anything before and I don't know what I'm doing.

Inside the SMAPI folder there are 2 folders called 'Mono' and 'Windows' and I'm on mac so I put the mod files into 'Mods' which is inside 'Mono' is this correct?

Also do the files need to be in their folders or not? Terminal opens every time I open the game and it says it has loaded 1 mod but I can't get it to work when I open the game and press P.

Edit: Do I need the original file and the patch or just the patch?

Do you think that you could update the Get Dressed mod to be cross compatible with Linux and Mac? The issue seems to be that the override paths are hard coded for windows, so they don't use the Path.Combine method that allows mods with overrides to work on Linux and Mac.

Edit/Addendum: I'd make the changes myself, except that I have absolutely no modding experience and no idea how to make such a fix.

 

Let me contact the authors and get their input before I answer this.

 

Sure, not a problem, it seems there was a lot of contribution to the mod. I know the main author has no activity here, or on Nexus for about two months.

 

Entoarox got my attention on Discord and I made an attempt at updating the mod. Download the latest version from the Nexus and let me know if you have any problems.

I'll give the new version a test run on my system and report back the results in the main thread for you. Thank you for updating this and thanks to Entoarox for bringing this to your attention.

Edit: Tested on Lubuntu 14.04 with SDV v1.11 and it now works with no errors returned. Thank you again Entonarox for alerting the author and Advize for the update!

 

All patches have been updated to work with SMAPI 1.5 (Indev) and its new mechanic for blacklisting mods that do not work with newer SMAPI versions.

 

What is required to have in order for the item spawner to work?
