RELEASED [SMAPI] Ento's home of Abandoned Mods

They are not pure SMAPI mods and thus do not fall under my requirements.

I don't suppose you have access to the source code?
I decompiled the .dll with ILSpy, but am seeing the same kinds of problems as when decompiling the main game and then trying to recompile it. Multiple errors with compiler-generated code = having to guess at what the original code did.
Is there an easier way to do this without the source code?

 

I decompiled it myself, so no I do not have the source code (Although, I do now know where it is )
Compiler generated field usually means needing to rewrite that bit to make it work again, as the compiler will have optimised things.

We are saying the same thing. *sigh* My favorite bit of compiler code is "<PrivateImplementationDetails>.ComputeStringHash(text)" followed by 200 lines of if/else or switch statements... !Fun stuff

 

Yeah, that is the compiler optimising a badly designed structure >_<

Hey, just a question! Are you planning to optimize these mods for Mac/Linux, particularly the CJB mods? It would be amazing if you could!

 

hmm can you add the return scepter to item spawner

 

There is a project in the works to hopefully remove cross-platform requirements for mods completely, with how complex some of these mods are, I am going to wait until the end result of that is known before going through so much effort.

 

i downloaded the item spawner mod with the SMAPI version 1.1.1. as soon as i launch the game i get an error saying that a mod crashed. i also have the cheats menu and the trainer mod.

 

You are using a outdated version of the trainer, update it.

 

Only the most kind soul would take time out of their day to do this for absolute nobodies. Thank you.

 

I can't get any of these mods to work. I have the steam version of 1.11. All the files are in the right places as well. Maybe its because I'm running the Mac version of the game. Also I'm Running SMAPI 1.2

Yes, these mods are only for xna (windows) and not mono (linux/mac) so they wont work there.

I am currently waiting on a end report on @Pathoschild's work on trying to automate cross-compatibility for mods, so until there is a answer on that I am not going to spend the time and effort required to make these mods cross-platform, since it is quite a task to do so.

I have a request. Can you update Recatch Legendary Fish by cantorsdust?

cantordust hasn't been online since April and the mod hasn't been updated since SMAPI 0.39 was released.

 

Have you verified that this mod is non-functional? Just because it hasn't been updated doesn't mean it has broken.
