Hey folks, since there is no working mod for grass growth, and while having more animals slow grass growth becomes a problem ive made a mod for that, you can tweak the values in config file if it isnt faster enough for ya. https://github.com/Kuliner/Stardew-Mods/releases/tag/1.0 Download the zip and put the mod folder in Mods. Awesome, definitely going to make use of this. Grass is way too slow normally. Thank you. As for a mod idea, I would kill for a mod that stops trees from dropping seeds and growing more trees. Or maybe slows down how often. My farm gets overrun by trees.

Well you fully deserve your nickname Sherlock True i did for learning purposes based my code on his, though i change the configuration method as that ini file didnt strike me fancy, but nontheless he deserves the credit which i forgot to add, thanks! Ill see what i can do about those trees.
For most mods, the config file is created after you start the game once. Like... just start it, no need to load a save or anything.
You might want to put something about what the settings in the config menu mean. Like you have a max and min values but how does changing those work?
Well recommended settings set themselves when you first run the mod. And min/max settings are for the itterations of grass growing each days, the mod randomizes between those two values how many times will the growth trigger.
It still works well with SMAPI v1.3, so I assume it works with lower versions too. Edit: the GitHub page is removed, so here's a new link: Mediafire
