Slow Down Tree Growth

I haven't started a huge tree farm yet, but they do seem to grow extremely fast.

I also noticed you can transport trees from other planets to a different planet to beautify it.Sometimes they even grow faster then trees native to the planet...which is strange.

Maybe trees from different planets should grow slower?
or from different environments, in addition to slowing it down a bit.

A way of breeding tees for specific looks and heights?

 

I would like to see the tree breeding to decorate my planet. They grow very fast but you do need 200-400 trees to fill your tank

 

It took me about 4 rounds of growing and chopping down my tree farm. And I was throwing away extra seeds too

 

How big is your farm? It takes a lot of trees to get that wood

 

my farm had 73 trees packed tightly together

one thing we're not lacking for in StarBound is space to put things
