Slingshots/catapults?

Slingshot:Throws rocks or any other throwable objects

Catapult: Shoots stone Lava rocks and Other stone projectiles

Slingshot made of sticks and rubber bands (if there are any)

Catapults made of iron wood and some Levers ( if there are any)

 

I'd rather use this as a transportation method.

Think about it.

 

Much too primitive for a futuristic game such as Starbound. I mean sure, they might actually be a pretty effective weapon, but who wants to use a catapult when you can ride in your decked out giant mech?

 

You don't use catapults in a space game, you use METEOR GUNS.

You don't use catapults as weapons, you use them for dicking around by flinging anything and anyone you can fit on the end of it.

 

Think smaller, pretty much handheld...

I can't imagine any good use for those things, but they could be added as some kind of gimmick to kill some time!
Or in a server you could punish bad players and shoot them into orbit with the catapult of dooooom! I would look something like this:

"No! Please spare me, I have wife and kids! Don't do it! Help Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."

I'd never use a slingshot, but the catapult would be used to slingshot people ^_^
