Slimenoids: Playable Race

There was once a slime that became friend whit a wyvern. The slime rided the wyvern outside of their planet, named Terra 21, they lived a lot of adventures together.
One day, the wyvern died of old. However, the slime, immortal, stayed alive.

The slime started to split.
They became two, then four, then eight...

They colonised an entire planet.
One day some aliens came, the aliens didnt stand a chance.
Slimes consumed their technology, and started to learn.

After lots of time, they managed to create an Electromagnetic Dispositive capable of holding the slimes on an humanoid form.

Thats how the Slimenoids were born.
Slimenoids use lots of poisons, acids, etc.

Female Slimenoids are Pink, and Male Slimenoids are green.

 

this sounds like a great idea and what a unique story too thats sounds like something i would play you should try talking about your idea to a developer!

I don't like it...
1) If they are immortal then how would you explain their inevitable deaths if controled by players?
2) If they are asexual how are there genders?
3) Why would holding a humanoid form be any benefit to slimes, whose main features consist of being in a near liquid state?

 

Water does age...
The gender being a choice is fair enough, it will be a choice with other races anyway.
If they managed to make the technology to make them permanently humanoid I would argue they don't need it :L

Fair enough though, my last criticism would be that they would have a very bland design.

 

Not if you had there design constantly changing like if when they get hit there skin ripples like water

Actually, who cares about water ageing?
Does water gets destroyed after time? Nope. It just evaporates, goes to liquid, and freezes. Actually slimes would work similar, but needing lots of more hot temperatures to evaporate or very low to freeze.

 

Matter can not be created or destroyed

 

I know, but i mean like, you can throw a chair trough a window and break it, but you cant break water by physical methods.

 

I dont like the idea bit too simple
