Uh... No? Although, I've never seen that one before. I'll have to take a closer look at it after I'm done plowing my way through this character sheet. I'm almost done with the Normal moves! Boy, are there a lot of them... Anyway, this should have everything you need. Have fun reading. Well, you don't really need to read everything, just the Core handbook. Start with skimming through the various Classes for some ideas, and then maybe through the Character Creation section to look at how you would go about making your character. Combat demo towards the back should help, too. Also, when choosing your starter, you may want to look at the Pokedex, which is also in the download. If you don't object, I'm going to play with my own character as well, probably with a Turtwig because I never use a Turtwig. Edit: Didn't make any headway in the Normal moves because I went back and tried to standardize the way that all the effects were phrased... That, and a) I went and looked at the thing Snowman found by accident. It's interesting, but I can't make sense of it. Seems to be a self-contained Pokemon RP. And b) I made a step-by-step visual walkthrough of the character sheet so that it's easier to actually figure out where things go! 12 screenshots in total, although it's really only 3 because I used Paint to mark up the same screenshots and made separate saves. I might as well show you guys my little project. Oh right, I should probably clarify that this isn't my creation. I'm just modifying the data so that the moves and such actually say what they're supposed to say. Step 2: Assign Attributes Step 3: Assign Combat Stats Step 4: Create Background Step 5: Choose Edges Step 6: Choose Features Step 7: Find Derived Stats Step 8: Basic Descriptions Step 9: Choose Pokemon Step 10: Money and Items
I'm probably going to go Bulbasaur for the poison typing, so then I can become a Poison type specialist/Ninja Badass That looks so much simpler than the character sheet that came with the core book and stuff.
Cleanup on Aisle 8 - my brain just exploded. This book is like the Master Exploder for me. I'm reading through it right now and I must say... wow. It's a bit overwhelming, but it looks like fun. I have a basic idea for a character but I should probably run that stuff by you some time to make sure it suits the campaign and whatnot. I guess that means I'll go with Fennekin for the maximum amount of shitty rival points. Aw, who am I kidding... I'd never pick Fennekin. Maybe we should talk as well about how our characters might play off each other. That way we don't both awkwardly show up in the same ninja uniform on the first day or something like that. EDIT: Well, it happened. Ruby and Saphire remakes this November.
Yeah... I love Gen 3, but I was always an Emerald guy. I suppose they will implement the added features from Emerald into Ruby and Sapphire there, but it just won't feel the same without Rayquaza gracing my title screen. That being said... WHO'S READY FOR THE RETURN OF SECRET BASES!!??? With online functionality, we should be able to all sync our bases in the games... You guys are gonna love my PokeDoll collection and bubble tools.
I like how The Kyogre Version gets Alpha which means highest rank & the Groudon Version gets Omega which means lowest rank. This suggests to me that GameFreak knows full well Kyogre is way better a poke than Groudon.
And then Rayquaza just busts into the place and kicks both of their sorry asses. Let's just ignore the fact that Kyogre has Ice Beam and is pretty much one of the best competitive Uber Pokemon ever (apparently).
Give me a moment. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, I'm done now. Excuse me as I go lie in bed dreaming sweet Hoenn dreams.
I don't understand what ya just said... & I mean it, Kyogre is flat out better than Groudon. Even if Groudon comes in on Kyogre to replace Rain with Sun, Groudon is firing off a non-STAB Solarbeam off his less powerful SAtk onto Kyogre's stronger SDef Stat. He'll take one or 2 of them. Even if he can't wet Groudon down right back, he can Ice Beam him & his weaker SDef down. Groudon's just plain built stupidly
Grass Knot users will have a field day. *shudders* I'm tempted to join your guys' clan here simply because of all the Pokemon discussion you all seem to be having here daily. That is, if you're still accepting members anyways. >w>
You mean sorta like how I keep saying Unova's starters should have been Water/Fighting, Fire/Psychic, and Grass/Dark? Seriously, Dewott and Samurott were begging for a Fighting type, and I can easily see Serperior being Dark type. Pignite and Embroar would probably need a design change, but otherwise it would have been all good.
And I'm tempted to say you have to do a little dance to get in due to our exclusivity, but who am I kidding... we could always use another member around here. If you're interested, fill out an application. If you aren't, I'm not gonna kick you out or anything. We only turn intruders into human piƱatas, not guests such as yourself, so rest easy. Samurrot was begging for anything that would make it remotely interesting. I know that's pretty harsh, but god damn, that was the first generation where I didn't like any of the starters. I'm leaning more towards Tepig now because I think he's kind of cute, and because I've seen first hand just how much potential Emboar has after modifying him a bit in the SLCFR mod. Man I miss Cold Rush Emboar...
@Pandora Hey. I literally never rarely post here and I don't know a whole lot about competitive Pokemon, but I was wondering if I could join this roleplay that I've heard about. I've read the core book and stuff, and it looks very intriguing, so I think I'd really enjoy taking part in it. Also hi everyone.
