Finding the loading speeds & such for the MC W10 Beta really schnappy consistently. Even getting to run farther Render Distances the I ever could on normal Minecraft! Speaking of Normal Minecraft, i've caught wind that there's an incoming 1.9 Update coming for it with more new stuff comin along, including new dual hand slots, & Sword parrying getting removed in favor of the Player now having an 'offhand' slot that can hold stuff like Shields, Torches, & such. Also, according to this: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/1.9#Gameplay_2 The stats on the Swords & Tools are getting Rebalanced. Axes as they should have been before, are now gonna be the hardest hitting dudes on the block, but in exchange, they'll be the slowest swinging & the double durability damage penalty for hitting Mobs & Players with it will still apply. The continued double durability damage is annoying, but i'll eat it rather then continue putting up with the damn Swords, & frankly I doubt the smaller Atk Speed will be a problem partially cause I can't click fast anyway so I might not have ever even been able to use the Sword's full Atk Spd anyway, & partially cause SCREW YOU SWORDS!!! Oh, also, not bothering with Swords anymore will free up a Hotbar Slot.
I'm still wrapped up with screwing around the MC W10 Beta, or I already would have. Who knows? Maybe I will down the road. Edit: Finally got my first death in the MC W10 Beta, I was digging stuff up under shallow water terraforming for my Base, & a Creeper managed to sneak up behind me & blow me up point blank range while I was already wounded from some drowning damage. (Surely ya wouldn't have said no to that under shallow water big vein of Coal eiher, right? Stupid Ice forming up above me at trollish times...) As best as I can tell & think of I think I managed to save everything I dropped. If the Creeper blew up any Item, it couldn't have been REAL important cause nothing seemed missing. Also, my new highest ever achieved Hearthstone Rank is now Rank 14, & my last month Treasure Chest gave me a Gold Sorcerer's Apprentice, & a Gold Kirin Tor Mage.
It's just a horrible, unfun joke about something that shouldn't be joked about. In other news, did anyone try out Siralim yet? It's pretty good, although pretty damn hard.
Anyone here eyeballing the incoming Blizz Game Overwatch? If ya are interested in getting a Beta Invite, might not hurt your chances of getting in if ya Log into your Battle.Net Account once in awhile & avoid looking inactive...
Got a little Starbound played lately. On my Starter Planet, i've found a Plasma Rocket launcher! I dig this improvement to early loot. In HotS news, Rexxar is incoming to the HotS Roster, as the first Ranged Warrior in the game, & he's accompanied by his Animal Companion Spell pal, Misha the Bear. Sadly a Summon Gahz'rilla Ult didn't make it in, instead, one Ult gives Misha (I think) temporary big extra attack power, & the other Ult summons a (Stonetusk?) Boar for every enemy detected in range at time of casting that charges them down then damage + stuns them. Might even work vs Stealthed Units. *Wonders if Nova Haters are gonna LOVE playing Rexxar with Boar Ult...* Gotta love the Dual Wield Throwing Axes Rexxar has. (I'm outright glad he got something this cool instead of just a Bow.) I GOTTA try him out & try like hell to get good at him. IF I can, he might contest Muradin for first place fav Warrior, or might contest Anub'arak for 2nd place fav Warrior. We'll see.
Rexxars thing always has been using axes. He did it back in Warcraft 3 too. Bows are just supplemental.
Ahh, I never knew that before. In that case, he's got fine taste in weapons. Also, if any of ya play MGS5, ya might wanna read this: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/metal-gear-solid-5-quiet-bug-could-corrupt-save-ko/1100-6430383/
In Pokemon-related news: This... looks pretty interesting actually. I'm reminded of the Pokemon April Fools joke from earlier, haha. I do hope there's more than just Gen I Pokemon though... Mewtwo also got gangbanged pretty badly there. Ouch.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-268942483 http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-268941155 I started playing showdown again but these games feel way harder than before. Was it always predict or die?
See this is interesting BUT. Micro-transactions could be problematic, especially since they've already got the little wristwatch thingy for it too. They should probably get rid of the micro-transactions if you get that a tad like how if you buy enough gems in rumble world you no longer have to pay. Also, although obvious, the game won't at all be like the trailer sadly. maybe in 2020 or so dang it. Also, I've heard that pokémon will only have one attack, which simplifies it for the kiddies or some crap (THEY CAN DEAL WITH FOUR FINE), but also seems to contradict who they're marketing to. Depicted in the trailer aren't the kids with their new pokémon, but rather mostly adults with the Gen I pokémon. Honestly, that really feels like they're shooting towards the demographic of old fans, but if they deconstruct it to be super simple, it just won't work. ...my fears aside, this seems pretty dank although I'll never be able to play it lol.
Maybe their demographic is most adults who grew up with Gen I but don't play pokemon anymore. I'd imagine there are quite a number of them and most of them will be buying it for nostalgic and "it looks like future" reasons.
That App is gonna send a awful lot of RL peeps down RL Alleyways & such full of very evil people & cause a hell of a lotta casualties among us vs the RL Forces of Evil, like Gangs, Organized Crime, etc... Do Game Makers EVER think...? Yep, & that's one of the big reasons KS hands me my ass a lot during our battles.
Personally, I really like ARGs; I just curse my phone for not having constant internet, because that's really key to being able to enjoy them. Regardless, I'm pretty psyched for GO.
Update: Minecraft W10 Edition Beta has implemented combining damaged Tools with each other to get a more fixed single tool, & the durability bonus from this looks intact! Bout time! Edit: Oh, also, reminder: It's nearing the end of the Shiny Mega Rayquaza Mystery Gift Event... anyone left that hasn't gotten it yet? I got mine just today after a blessed reminder on it from Serebii. Also, what was the Max Post Size of these Starbound Forums Threads again...? *Eyeballing how high the Thread's Post Count has gotten...*
500 from what I remember. Also that Rayquaza is a goddamn america only thing. We have to buy crap in one of our stores for that, and screw that.
