I'm aliiiiiiiiiiive. No seriously, I've basically been dead since Saturday because of all the work I had. Today's a god-sent free day that I'm spending doing chores.
Am I the only one who really hates HERE HAVE THIS POKEMON events? I was all hyped for Arceus as a kid, knowing about the cheats for the azure flute and such, nahhh mystery gift. Don't catch it bruh its okay. Victini? Step in the right direction. Genesect? You know, the thing with lots of lore and theories behind it? Have it free! Meloetta? Have. It. Free. pls. Then don't get me started about the time I traded up to a shiny Giratina, only to have them announce the shiny legendary event crap RIGHT AFTER. FOR FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. So that was a week and lots of shinies that I could have kept gone to waste. Diancie? Free event. Hoopa? Free event in japan, so it'll be one here. Shiny Mega Rayquaza is the coolest looking thing ever, I want to get one, have some accomplishment an-NOPE HAVE A FREE ONE. ...anyways there's a free shiny rayquaza event now for anyone who cares ._.
I always liked actually earning my legendaries through playing the game's events instead of just getting them out of the blue. Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, heck, even Manaphy (had to hatch an egg and import it from Ranger iirc) had their own special events when they were released back in DPPt. Why stop the trend, GF? It added a bit more depth to the game instead of just getting tidbits of info from their Pokedex entries. This lack of depth/things to do is what made XY's end game so... boring.
I've FINALLY gotten around to maintaining my 3DS cause it'd been too long since I had, & somehow I got a free game, "Stretchmo" from Streetpass or Spotpass or such somehow. Anyone have a clue what kinda game it is & what it's like? For the first time in ages i've gotten to resume my Terraria SP, & i've now got my Hellevator down to the Underworld, & have got enough Hellstone to get my Flamarang. I'm totally digging how the Underworld looks now post 1.3. Also Lava Slimes upon death now drop some Lava so best be cautious when fighting them, & Lava is now Legitly Renewable without needing Bug Exploitation. I'm diggin it! (Especially along with the now stackable Buckets! Making more then one Bucket is now not only worth doing, but an outright good idea!) Edit: Also just found a Notification on my 3DS about being able to get Pokemon Rumble World for free, it's hard to say no to Free. I'm DLing it! *Feels a tad guilty at how long it's been since my last time i've played my 3DS...*
Ahh, didn't know that... but in my defense i'm only just discovering them, so they're new to me in all it's unspoiled glory. Ahh, didn't know that. Good thing i'm playing Expert Mode then. *Pities the sorry sods playing Normal Mode & having ZERO Renewable Lava legitly.*
Liquid exploit is completely legit and devs, while try to fix most ridiculous setups, leave "min liquid for pickup - half a bucket" wide open. And you can steal stacks of liquids from other worlds.
Well, the biggie one for me i'm amused still exists is the one about piling a crapload of Water into your Hellevator as ya make it till ya got many many screens tall of Water in it then getting the Hellevator down into Hell then having Infinite Water pouring into it for the rest of that Session cause of the Glitch where 'Water outside Chunk Load Range feeds Water to ya infinitely while the Water outside the Chunk Load can't expend & drain down keeping the Water Amount finite, & the only thing that can resolve this is exiting world the reloading it & having the world load water settling step deal with it.'. Mine had SO much Water in it it's taking 2 Reloads to resolve, my next one gonna be next time I hop into my world as of the time of this Post. KS, just found this & this may be quite relevant to ya cause last I remember ya are both a fan & user of Linux: http://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/terraria-1-3-0-8-can-mac-linux-come-out-play.30287/ Edit: Oh, also forgot to mention I now also have the Fiery Broadsword & Molten Armor Set done. Now maybe i'll be a match for Hardmode Queen Bee & Skeletron... hopefully...
Totally. I'm in the 'Killing Skeletron's Arms first is worth the while' camp. Now got the Molten Pickaxe & Hamaxe, & even built a Imp Staff pondering the idea of summoning him for damage add before starting a Boss Fight then dismissing him after fight's end, to experiment on new strategies. I'm not leaving a summon up full time atm cause i've read about how they can sometimes auto-attack & kill something ya might not have wanted to attack at that time... *Imagines Imp killing a Voodoo Demon over Hell Lava... *
> Molten Pickaxe Implying reaver pickshark and other fishaxes aren't better. > Imp Staff Damage too low. Oh, and if the voodoo doll falls in lava as a drop, it won't spawn the wall. At least, in normal mode. Not sure about expert, a lot of safeties are offline in expert.
