Wow, Weavile looks mad fun! KS's head's gonna asplode trying to play him & Pikachu at the same time, or from trying to decide which of the 2 to Main!

Nonsense, Starbound's the best of the Triad, but all 3 are good in their own right.


New Update took me by surprise, but once I realized what had happened, it seemed so cool I gave up my SP Character & World & made new both of those to experience this new content. (Plus easier to get some of the Achievements done this way too.) Digging the changes so far, & this also gave me a chance to switch to a Expert Mode World (Still Softcore though cause I have no brain or skill, but Expert Mode's SOME apology for this, right? Plus I can't STAND losing my Items... ) & just for the halibut I made the world a Large Size even though that's hilarious overkill for a SP Character. I want the World to be able to give me lots to do in it as I do my Adventuring in it. Plus i'm a freak & seem to be the only Clanner in the Clan that can actually find it relaxing to dig up a storm & build stuff. I'm SO a Glitch through & through.

Also, some stuff to get off my Chest:

1: BOUT DAMN TIME THE NPCs LEARNED HOW TO FREAKING FIGHT!!! WOOT!!! (Though the Guide stopped doin it after a long time... theory, is his Arrow Ammo Supply finite, or is his AI simply unable to process dealing with his being stuck in a deep 3 block wide hole & helplessly trapped in it with a Zombie pummeling him? Stupid bugger falling into my beginnings of my next Hellevator. )

2: Bout damn time stuff like the Grappling Hook got a Inventory Slot to itself!

3: We STILL can't choose exact coloring of our stuff? There's no way in hell to make out exactly what color you're doing with the damn slider system the way it is! On the bright side, digging the new starter variety of default clothes, can't help but to lol at the gals being able to traipse around in a dress though.

4: Diggin the looks of the new sprites for stuff like the Dyes & such.

5: Diggin some of the new Monsters, like the Sand Slimes & such. The Weapon Zombies are cool, but f'ing deadly though, there's no handling them with the crappy starting broadsword. Guide's Archery's about the only defense vs them. (Remember, i'm Expert Moding.)

6: Web Ropes are cool!

7: I started my World & had a Wooden Chest right below & a bit left of my Starting Position, woot! It had no Wooden Boomerang in it though, no more woot & I felt so trolled... Speaking of which, why the hell does the Wooden Boomerang keep getting placed on the opposite side of Biomes too strong to handle that make ya need stuff way stronger then the Wooden Boomerang to survive through, then the Wooden Boomerang is never even able to be a help... If this can't be resolved, maybe it should be deleted as a wooden chest find & be made craftable... not like Wood's hard to get at the beginning.

8: Glad there's more starter magic weapons now for our caster buds... but why did I have to suicide cross a Desert & get lucky at surviving that before I found one? The new Mana Star crafting reduced to 3 Fallen Stars to craft them's of little use if one STILL can't get the first Magic Weapon before they've collected enough Fallen Stars to max their Mana bar anyway.

9: Holy wow! I got mad lucky & had a fast early 2 Black Lenses dropage from the eye monsters to get a awesomely lucky early Sunglasses! ROCKING!!!

 

It's likely because boomerangs are OP melee weapons.

 

Not in my hands, I do not have godly aim. (I KNOW i'm gonna love the Possessed Hatchet much for this reason in addition to cause it's an Axe, but I have yet to ever get far enough in a World to actually GET one so far.)

Also, good info in the Changelog: http://terraria.gamepedia.com/1.3.0.1 I bet it's gonna be awesome to now be able to MP through Steam! Evolve's good, but can be a hassle.

Edit: OMG, 2 new Mounts that will be my Final Mount for sure! Mounts? What the hell are mounts? Is this still terraria?

 

Ya get an item, use it, it pops ya onto something ya can totally ride around, & some can fly ya around.

 

Back in my day we had to launch ourselves up with our BOOTS! Not fancy mounts and thingamajigs!

Though, I'm really really enjoying playing through Terraria again with friends in 1.3.

 

I've got to admit I checked the wiki and it seems like they actually added a LOT of stuff. MAYBE I'll take another look at it, but I dunno.

I started a new Terraria 1.3 world with my friend and decided to play on expert. Holy hell it's oppressive. Maybe it's just because I haven't played in a while but I got killed by slimes a couple of times. Health seems so hard to track, one minute I'm alive then suddenly I'm dead because I was waddling around corruption with 23 health. Perhaps I'm too used to playing league and having health down bottom.

Moving on to another oppressive game, showdown really tanks your elo when you stop playing for awhile it seems. It's pretty sad.


Sorry I haven't been on in a while. League is consuming me.

I just started playing Terraria again. Got some wood, killed some slimes, and got a slime staff. holy shit that baby slime is OP.

Screw your day, after I get the Cute Fishron Mount, I won't even need Wings or Rocket boots anymore so I can use that Accessory Slot for more damage boost!

Heh, that's end game stuff, I got a billion years to get more Black Lens dropage, plus I'm a Warrior, aka Melee, not a Caster. I like some of the spells, but Warrior is my Home Archetype, especially cause i'm WAY too retarded to ever walk the path of magic & ever have any success at it. On this new Expert Mode i've already died over 10 times, if not over 15. Am I ever gonna learn how to think?

I know ya told me before that ya went Warrior Path before too like me, but I can't help but to think the Minion Caster Path could really be your cup of tea Gentle, ya should do a bit of research on it. I know ya are the kinda person that loves sending minions to do your bidding for ya so ya don't have to do the work yourself. I can TOTALLY see ya running around having a blast having your 9+ Ravens doing your monster mashing work for ya.


1.3's done a couple things that i'm not a fan of, top of the list, I never even got to use a Possessed Hatchet before, & now on top of that it got Nerfed in addition to there being 0 new better Boomerangs... (Slightly faster use time on something that already couldn't have more then one attack out at a time is NOT worth losing 10 damage... It's ruined now... They couldn't even compensate it by giving it Auto-Swing or anything...? )

On the other hand, it's also done some cool things, like now allowing a Solidifier to be able to drop off King Slimes so I can now make my Slime Houses BEFORE Hard Mode! Also, Meteor Brick, Brick Wall, & Furniture has FINALLY been introed! I HAVE to give it a try for sure! It may even defeat Slime Blocks & Pumpkin Blocks for new fav Housing Material, though the Solidifier would still be useful for Frozen Slime Blocks... there's GOTTA be use for those dudes, I just know it!

Also, anyone try the new craftable Wooden Yo Yo yet? What a screwy weapon that thing is! Giving me a hand with my early survival though, but somehow I don't think i'm gonna switch to Yo Yos as my primary weapon. The Game STILL needs moar Battle Axe type weapons for those of us that think Swords are pompous inferior weapons.

A, mechbosses are not endgame, B, summoner isn't caster, C, minitwins are good for every class, D, dying on expert is perfectly normal.
