Actually, it's the other way around; Blaze powder is crafted from blaze rods. While that's not really accurate, it's a fair trade so whatever. Another material I forgot was Quartz.
That's a good one. Any idea for a fair trade? Geodudes currently drop this, but I don't think anyone would be opposed to having Quartz on hand for building. Currently leaning towards regular stone so that you'll need at least coal and cobblestone to get it. This is probably lopsided in favour of us, but as far as I know Quartz is just for building... It's an ingredient in Rare Candy? I can definitely hear Gravik weep as I totally call off the Glowstone option. Boy, that was close. I figured it might be nice to make glowstone lamps more easily available, but alas. I don't want to have the vendor be used for important ingredients like that, but rather, to provide things that you otherwise could get fairly easily if it was implemented. Netherrack and the Super Rod are the big ones right now.
I think it's used in some redstone contraptions, but as far as I know nobody's even doing those anyway? But yes, the main point of it is for building.
AAWWWWW YEEEEEAHHHHH! CANCER DRAGON MASTER RACE! You might want to sell end stone too, just in case someone wants it. I'd say a good trade is for iron or aluminum ingots, since while you can get it easily once you have an end portal, finding one is usually a daunting task. Or maybe an eye of ender for a stack of 10? Also, maybe some of the consumable healing items in pixelmon? Berries and potions other than the basic one can't be crafted. It would be nice to have a steady supply of Oran, rawst, or leppa berries, since they're held items that are sometimes given to Pokemon to hold and use. Perhaps a gold ingot for each?
The block that would be offered is the Quartz brick or whatever, so it would be purely decorative. God damn those End Stone blocks are ugly. Does anyone actually want these? From what I understand, this seems like a more extreme version of the Netherrack, and that you need to get to "the end" in order to find them, but once you're there you can get a shit-ton. I'll have to think on what is worth trading for that. The consumables is an interesting idea. At first, I didn't like the idea of providing those items since I'm mostly focusing on stuff that would be otherwise available if it weren't for the mod. On the other hand, these healing items are easily available in the main series, and while Pixelmon Centers are fairly easy to get to here, it would be handy to have some healing items available. I don't think it's necessary to have these in Pixelmon, but at the same time, I don't think it would hurt if they were available. Currently figuring out how much to make them worth.
Though rare, I find that End Stone is a good material when making certain things, such as bone or space rock. Also, keep in mind that it may look WAY nicer in a different texture pack.
Space rock? You can make bones from End Stone? ._. That aside, maybe Soul Sand and Nether Wart in addition to the Netherrack? Don't really see much use for them apart from decoration, but that's kinda the point here lol. Apart from that, can't think of anything else that isn't present in the game already. Unless I'm missing something. Haven't been really keeping up to date with new Minecraft blocks. Imma ghost.
I'm a Fighting type. Boo. I seriously dislike most Fighting types. My exceptions are Breloom, Breloom, and Breloom. And Meloetta in her Pirouette forme. She's cute.
Alright can somebody tell me what I thought when putting wonderroom onto Garde and several other teams (like the new experimental team with Sableeye as a very interesting supporter with very interesting moves)? What demon was riding me then? Currently working on further optimization of my main team... Got few things in mind 1. Reflect is much easier to setup and halves attack and cannot backfire... (except they got brick break). Maybe Wonderroom is alot more usefull once those new physical threats are out... but seriously Reflect gets the job done aswell... and supports the team for a few turns if the user goes down... might even consider changing EVs a bit... Scizor is still worrying me... but with a different EV spread of 64 points into Defense and Reflect up on scizor switch in it can only score a 3Hit KO with bullet punch, max Attack EV with Adamant nature without stealthrocks and with rocks theres a 78% chance to knock her out... HP fire wrecks it in return in 1 hit... without Stealth rocks... Just trying to find a way to punish all those Scizor users. And HP fire seems to get it done pretty well aslong I survive the first hit. 2. Ferrothorn can absorb physical hits very well , aslong they are not firebased, while hurting the opponent if they do contact... now I saw some of you using a rocky helmet... anyone considered that this can be used as a relieable source of dealing damage with Ferrothorn while it sustains itself with leech seed or supports with paralysis/knockoff? Really does rocky helmet worth it on Ferrothorn or is it more of an gimmick and I should keep leftovers on him? 3. Dusclops is fine as he is currently, he is pure support for crippling physical threats with burn and hazing them then and for stalling of course with Will o Wisp in case I know the opponent has no recovery at all. 4. Weavile: Debating if I should add icicle crash and replace icepunch with it... has 5% less accuracy but does more damage... and a nifty flinch chance. 5. Heatran/Taunttran: Love to see when some of the people I played against tried to wall heatran off with Mandibuzz and got punished for that hard. Taunted them, then Ancient power has worn them down or forced them to switch. Not really thinking that I want to change him... also good for shooting down talonflames... even the bulky once with Roost... who will be taunted... and then shot down in case they try to wall me out. 6. Dragonite: Not sure if I should change him, he is my main physical sweeper and I gave him some very well working spread allowing him to survive some harder ice based attacks to activate weakness policy... really not sure if I should change him as for now, liking to use him like that.
Glowstone Dust is not a problem. It drops decently well from many of the Electric Types, from Pikachu to Elekid to Mareep. It's not a difficult farming. Secondarily, i've spotted Ghast Tears dropping from Ghastly & Haunter too, though frankly I dunno if Ghast Tears are really all that useful in Pixelmon... If I remember right they're used in Brewing & I dunno if one can even get Blaze Rods to Craft the Brewing Stand with anyway. Actually, speakin of which, guess that means Blaze Rods would be worth it. I always Rocky Helmet my Ferrothorn to combo with Iron Barbs cause I think Iron Barbs alone does not do enough damage, but Iron Barbs + Rocky Helmet does. Believe it or not, this can be a suicidal, yet effective way to defeat enemy Fire Types that use Flare Blitz, especially if your Ferrothorn's already done his job & ya don't need him anymore that battle. Flare Blitz Recoil from all that double super effective damage + Iron Barbs + Rocky Helmet = for example a DD'd Mega Charizard X could end up killing himself on your Ferrothorn as your Ferrothorn dies making a trade of your Ferrothorn alone for his Mega... that's like trading your Knight for your foe's Queen. Worth it. IMHO, Iron Barbs + Rocky Helm can pull weight. Whether or not this would synergize well with your particular team, that I honestly dunno.
Blaze rods drop on occasion from Magmar, and some other fire Pokemon. Btw, do you know how the server's coming along?
Here are my thoughts. 1. Reflect is more conventional, and while you lose some of the surprise factor, you gain reliability. It's at the very least worth a shot. 2. Rocky Helmet is probably the best item for him right now. Leech Seed provides recovery and bringing him in for a Physical hit (like that Scizor you mentioned) really hurts the opponent when you have the Rocky Helmet. While they switch out you can set up Rocks or Seeds. 4. Stick with Ice Punch. Weavile's main STAB should be Knock Off, with Ice Punch there to OHKO special cases like Garchomp and Gliscor. The extra damage Icicle Crash does is negligible for these Pokes. If you're using a Jolly Life Orb set, you have an 81% chance to OHKO a full health Multiscale Dragonite with Ice Punch, so it's certainly good enough. 6. From what I've seen, your Dragonite is very similar to mine. I find Weakness Policy works best on it for taking Rock type hits, and I've noticed you don't have anything that really baits those kind of moves. I'm sure you've found something that works for it though. Server News I finished my work with it a few hours ago, and it's been uploading ever since. The world file now is going on 2GB, and with my internet speed that leaves me at 43% as I type this. It should be another couple hours, if not more. Regardless, here's a list of changes I have made. Some of them are useful. 1. Removed Wack Shack initially because nobody was using it and I wanted to put the vendors there, but ended up deciding against it. Goodbye, Wack Shack. 2. Added vendors to the main Hub-Bub area. One vendor specializes in selling healing items for gold ingots, while the other WANTS YOUR ROCK! OH YEAHHHH!!!!RACK-4-ROCK is also in the business of trading WHEAT-4-MEAT since beef and chicken really don't do anything, where as wheat can be used for making Potions. Since this vendor is downright shameless, it also provides Quartz and End Stone. 3. Mowed lawn around Hub-Bub. 4. Went flower crazy on the Hub-Bub so that I was stylish enough to get into the clothing shop in Lumiose. 5. Made some tweaks to the bar and Hub-Bub area in general, some small, and some big. 5.1. While handling said tweaks, I had a zippy basterd of an NPC sneak in the door and run straight down to The Ring... JIMMY! It's dangerous down here! 5.2. Killed Jimmy. As he slowly submerged into the lava, he cried out "Save me!" and I whispered, "No." 6. Finished renovating The Ring so that it's a little more usable now for battles. The above photos give a good sense of the new size, but I decided to try a couple more alterations with it which you guys can check out once it's uploaded. Namely, I added a border of sorts to it so that it would be harder for Pokemon to fall off into the lava, and lowered the ring itself so onlookers can still see the battle (not that they see much in Pixelmon).
Damnit, I was too late... I woulda asked for Nether Stars to be tradeable, likely fr a half a stack of diamonds each.
Since I think it's unlikely you're going to be trading for a lot of them, you could just ask KS himself.
I don't even know what those are. *Googles* Ah, it's used to make Beacons. I definitely know what those do. That's probably how I'd go about it. I'd need to research these things a bit more to figure out what it's worth, but I doubt we'd see it happening as often as cobblestone for Netherrack. As I sit here falling asleep in my chair, the upload is at 62%. I'm afraid I will probably doze off before the upload finishes, so the server will not be up until tomorrow morning when I get up. Apologies for the inconvenience folks, but there's still two weeks to go and I don't think I'll have to take the server down for an extensive period like this again. Thankfully. I'll post here the moment the server is back up, tomorrow morning. I'll try to stick around for a bit afterwards as well in case I broke something, as it's something I've come to expect with experience.
More than half a stack of diamonds, I'd say, mostly because of the absurd amount of time it takes to collect wither skeleton skulls. They come from wither skeletons, which only spawn in nether fortresses, and even then, they only drop about 2.5% of the time, and you need 3 of them to spawn the wither. Then, you also need some pretty decent gear. Probably full diamond armor, enchanted, along with a diamond sword, enchanted bow, and probably some potions or golden apples in order to take down the wither.
