SLCFR: Frankenstein Chicken

Back in 2013, my friend and I were on a public whitelist Pixelmon server, and he managed to get a shiny Charizard. Coolest mount ever, until they banned mounts. I also had the cutest little pygmy Eevee.

 

Might sound nasty... can you... can you ride a gardevoir... or better be carried by her?

 

Damn, that's sad. Gotta remember when someone is in such a state the last thing they are capable of is thinking about other people. The only thing on their mind was to well, you know.

I haven't really talked about this for a while, since I've actually been waiting on this update and for some time to actually test some of this out. There's a good number of changes in this next update, and I believe it will be using the latest version of Forge as its base so it'd be best to start out with this rather than upgrade after getting all set up. I'll keep you guys posted.

No. Not even sure Gardevoir is in the mod actually. You can check here for what Pokemon are currently available.

...why would they ban mounts?

 

As if it wasn't already obvious, this cements my choice in starter.

 

Still I would prefer some thin and fast neurotoxin to end it once and for all... or something that works like a neurotoxin in your body... like bleach... But well they got him off the area and cleared it. Apparently getting hit by a train didnt end it... well now they are probaly trying to figure out why while he is under carefull medical care... Still had to wait with alot of other people... unbearable 2 hours in central station... atleast the soccer match gave some distraction... not that I like soccer that much but atleast it was a distraction.


And nooo... theres no Gardevoir in... nor Mesprit...nor Lucario... nor Heatran... nor anything else I am used to Salamence is in though so I could ride a salamence while having a massivily oversized VTOL/Flying fortress with laser weaponary, while I wear tactical combat glasses (a visor) 24/7 and steal your pokemon... need to get a team with a Salamence soon again...

There's still a lot of pokemon awaiting implementation in that Mod & they're incoming eventually... there's even one remaining Fossil Poke awaiting this implementation even though its Fossil is in-game... funnily enough this awaiting-implementation poke is from the Root Fossil... that turns into the Pre-Evolution of Cradily, one of KS's Favs. The Wiki says that anyone finding a Root Fossil should hold onto it while awaiting the Implementation, cause it IS gonna happen eventually. (I'm gonna laugh my ass of if Cradily turns out to be ride-able! )

I wonder if a Persistent Server will be possible? It'd be cool to be able to Pixelmon even if few to no other Clanners are Online, there's plenty of things one can do even alone, like build my Secret Base in a Secret Location far far away from Civilization outta paranoia of my stuff getting nabbed, or worseEV Training, hunting for a certain poke to catch a billion of till one with the desired Nature is found, Mining Resources, Farming Apricorns, etc. Can even do service stuff, like build Roads to make Navigating our world easier & less easy to get lost in!

I'm still undecided on if i'll build me a House eventually... I very well might since I somehow kinda like building myself stuff... & i'm paranoid of stuff I store getting made off with cause of my damn RL Head Problems & the paranoia they induce in me regardless of if it's rational or not, damn head problems...

Oh, when we get to get to Pixelmoning, I call Dibs on Zapdos & Rayquaza... unless ya beat me to getting them caught, then i'm screwed.

Am I correct in assuming that only Pokemon Combat will be allowed & this won't be a PvP Server outside Pokemon Combat? Also, safe bet, we'll have the 'Keep Items on Death' Cheat on, since there's a few surviving ways to die in the game, including but not limited to lethal fall damage? Heck, can't help but to wonder if there's even any point in Swords or Armor in Pixelmon...

Damn, I can't help but to wanna plan my Pixelmoning in advance, so excited!

In a way, I kinda like the more blocky designs over the super-detailed models we have right now. It has a certain charm to it, and it fits more with how blocky the world is in Minecraft.

I'm sorry guys this past weekend I've just been playing Far Cry 3 and it's sooo awesome!
It kinda sucks that i didn't do my homework at all despite it being just drawing but I just don't have it in me. I feel so lazy.

Anyways if anyone wants to battle I'm open for one. I also want to experiment with vgc but don't have any teams currently.

Talonflame's not broke... & I don't think Mega Charizard Y is OP either. As for Togekiss, surprisingly I don't find her Air Slashing a fat lot. I tend to Dazzling Gleam & Aura Sphere on her much more often, thanks in large part to the fact that some things weak to Fighting & Fairy sometimes stay in Jubilee's face, but funnily enough nothing weak to Flying ever wants to.

Well, KS's Band Talonflame can be a bugger, but even then I don't ever feel like i'm bein cheesed when fighting him... but then again I think the Showdown Devs are being babies for Banning Aerilate from AAA cause of Aerilate Noivern & Aerilate Dragonite, so I won't be offended if no one wants to listen to me on this one.

 

It ain't broke, but I'll be damned if it wasn't powerful in the right situations. Priority Brave Bird/Roost/Flying-type moves plus being one of the fastest Pokemon in the game? GG m8. You can easily counter it or get outright wrecked by it, depending on your team. It doesn't help that it's super common in the current metagame as well. Talonflame is practically the definition of OU and I despise it for that reason.

 

Havent played with AAA so far... so might need to give that a shot (Moxie Lifeorb/Expert belt Max Speed Weavile...), but seriously... only thing I managed to do against that annoying togekiss was bringing up something way faster against it (weavile) and then outspeed it with Ice Punch 0Hitting it.
Talonflame... Switching into Heatran, tanking his brave bird... then... well what to do then... Using flashcannon wearing him slowly down... or swap into ferrothorn while he is going for a flareblitz... which takes him out aswell, recoil + iron barbs + high HP of my ferrothorn are usually enough to extinct it... specially after stealthrock, thats a 1 for 1 trade... which kinda sucks.

Spore... switching into ferrothorn, neutralising spores effects.

Mega Charizard Y... the special attack is ridicolous... atleast he doesnt get anything good to boost that... Regular strategy is for me again having Heatran for him, taking his hit and then wearing him slowly down with Flash cannon or forcing a switch (after all Heatran could have ancient power which is weak, but yet devastating on Fire/Flying). Or setting up dragonite against it which usually results in the opponent switching into a fairy... which results then that said fairy gets hit by extreme speed, followed by earthquake which shuts it down. Then dragonclawing the rest...
But direct counters... havent found any, in most cases I try to scare him out and let Stealthrocks do the rest.

But using any of those together is just straight disgusting. Paraflinch, Non-Setup-Sweeper able to instant kill most things even with high special defense, clear nobrainers... all of that. If it would be classy... like a... hm Klefki which can be a supporter and a decent tank at the same time (Paralysis + Defense boosting moves + Draining kiss)... or Pinsir with Aerilate, after all that thing has enough weaknesses... Or even scizor... or Trevenant which is annoying, but not going to break through anything, its an extremly good tank, specially with substitute, protect, sitrus, leechseed and some damaging move.

But god I HATE Talonflame.
