Sketches and drawings

I have mostly drawn pencil on paper (basically exclusively) but I have been trying to expand into different areas too.

I draw mostly characters from movies I enjoy but I also enjoy drawing animals. Here is a sample of my art:

I really like it, have you considered digital drawing? I think you could benefit well from it

 

I am actually trying to draw digital art, but I don't have a tablet I can use right now so it is kind of difficult. I think I would be well suited to draw digital art though.

 

Hope you acquire one soon though, it may be difficult at first, drawing someplace and looking somewhere else, but once you get used to it, you can make beautiful art to your hearts content.
Or you could buy a pen Display tablet, but I don't think it's safe to assume you have 2000 dollars lying around

 

If you didn't have a tablet so far but want one i suggest: Try to buy a used one, something simple, a Bamboo Tablet from the last 3-4 years maybe.
Those are perfect for getting used to use tablets but do not get anything that has an A5 ('ish) drawing area or smaller than that, those suck :/
if you have that, get your hands on a programm like Paint Tool Sai and enjoy

 

These are really good. It has that unpleasant feeling when you look it at but at the same time it is visually done well.I definitely like that work. The third one is not my favorite but I definitely like 2 (The pale man) and 4 (The Raven)

I'm currently trying to draw my character, here he is so far!

He's wearing a scarf, knight's chest armor, lab coat bottom, and knight boots. This is how I imagine him. ;P

Yeah I was probably going to put this into a digital format but my bf won't let me use his tablet D;

I wanted a bamboo but Wacom recalled every single one of them to make way for their new products I guess I'll have to buy their new expensive models...

 

hu? they did? o___O i still ahve mine ô.O never heard of any recall and all that o___o

 

All the stores had their inventories recalled. I went to an electronics store abut a month back and they told me about it.

I guess Wacom wanted to sell exclusively their new tablets. So I guess I'll have to buy an Intuos instead of a Bamboo.

 

did you check amazon and so on? i somehow can not imagine that wacom would do that :/
