Running into a little problem in that Sandy doesn't attend the festivals, and marriage probably won't help that... Hm...

 

So I think I'll do a regular Sandy and a slightly-edited Sandy. I love her a lot, but ffs her clothes bother me. Why is she wearing tentacles? So I'll probably do a version with more sensible clothes, and possible a bit of editing to her hair as well. Sort of like what I did with Emily.

Perhaps try reinstalling the mod, then try again? ^^; I just reinstalled it for myself and it worked fine, dating, proposal, marriage, and his moving in. The file that would cause that (most likely) is called EngagementDialogue.XNB. You'll want to make sure you don't have another mod interfering with that file.

 

Oh, word! Woohoo! I'll go do that and see. This is the only mod I'm using (SEE THE RELENTLESSNESS OF MY THIRST), so that should rule out that conflict.

Like... Linus with regular clothes? It's a possibility for the future, but i don't have any current plans to give him more standard clothing. He's essentially a freegan and I really can't come up with an appropriate-looking outfit for him. Sorry!

 

The Sandy mod is entirely finished - the regular Sandy and the "fashionable" Sandy! I'm just going to give a couple of the features a quick test and then I will post the mod within about an hour! *u*

 

Well, Sandy's marriage fun doesn't work for whatever reason, but I don't see that as a huge problem. I will try and fix it, but until then, Bachelorette Sandy (regular & fashionable) is released!! Enjoy, all. :^)

That seems to be some kind of mod to make Linus not homeless in the first place, which is definitely not the point of my mods. I'm trying to keep these characters conceptually as close to their originals as I can, and Linus is homeless by choice, so making him not homeless would be changing a huge part of his character. Like I said, if I can come up with an outfit that I think works well for him I may release it in the future, but I have no plans for that as of now.

 

Marnie and Pam are my next projects. I do warn with Marnie that you likely won't be able to use her services if you marry her.

 

By the way... if everyone could stop voting for the Wizard & Sandy.... that'd be great. lmao

 

Well, rather than wearing a leaf-dress you could give him prehistoric and hand-made leather clothing after the style found on Otzi the Ice-Man who lived 8,000 years ago. Simple and effective, and gets the mountain-man appearance across quite well IMO. Would also make him look a little bit more like Eve's Grandpa from HM SNES, who I think is his inspiration in the first place.

Other than that, you could put him in hand-spun wool. It would look chunky, not very smooth, pretty lumpy and fuzzy, but it would be very warm. If you put him in a plain grey cable-knit sweater with fuzz coming off it like Shane's original hoodie, it could get the point across.

And now, time for me to scream excitedly over Sandy.
