Taking the hand, "Good to meet ya, sorry again, my old self breaks through every now and then and I can't just wind away to clear out some of the dumber things I say."
" I-i erhm...Where did Capn'Sam said we need to go or what to do?" Phateon looks like he remembers something " I-I need to go take measurements! "
Whyt cracks her knuckles and wiggles her fingers with a devious grin. She gently pats one of the boxes that reads "CAUTION," letting out a content aigh. She seems to blank for a moment as she realizes something. "...I'm not the only scientist."
The gun deck is rather open, with multiple swivel cannons mounted on both sides of the vessel with corresponding terminals within. In the center of the deck, set apart from the gun lanes by a light railing, lie many large containers for ammunition and basic supplies. The guns are all in mostly good condition from first glance, though could definitely use some touch ups, and there might be some deeper lying problems due to the general age of the amenities on Captain Sam's vessel. Mundane work, mostly. The stern of the Tinderbox is a quick elevator ride up from the mid-decks, positioned just above the Captain's Quarters. The bridge holds an ornate chair designated for Captain Sam, as well as several scattered seats for miscellaneous crew. The primary controls to the vessel consist of most typical ship controls... And a large, ancient, naval ship's wheel as the primary steering mechanism. Nothing Lucca Owen can't manage, of course. The engine room is comprised of many large pipes and terminals, with hissing steam and dangling cables. The center of the room is filled with the large erchius engine, currently thrumming peacefully with a light violet glow. Multiple erchius silos surround the engine, ensuring (hopefully) that the fuel won't run out on the journey to-or from-Siren. The dashboards and terminals could certainly use some simplifying; Captain Sam's tendency to mismatch parts from her various past adventures has led to the control panels in the engine room being somewhat confusing and cryptic at times. The interior is constructed out of firm metal, and is adorned with various fabrics and lights at appropriate intervals (not buried in blankets, but not utterly barren). The decks, top to bottom: The bridge; Captain's Quarters; the gun deck, as well as the engineering deck aft of the ship; the crew's quarters, including a small galley and the lab to the aft; and the vast majority of the supplies are stored in the ventral-most part of the ship. The supply deck is fully stocked, with multiple crates stacked on high and bound together with synthetic rope. The crates are marked as food, water, survival goods, etc., and would normally take an inconsiderable amount of time to fully inspect. Fortunately, a thin, simply dressed Glitch is walking between the crates, taking stock of everything present. "Analysis: Stack contents--Eight times crates of basic survival rations, Human. Ten times crates of foodstuffs, meats. Three times barrels of alcohol, rum. Six times canisters of water, compressed."
Karana begins to inspect some of the guns. She isn't much of an engineer, but she at least has some understanding of how heavy weaponry functions, so she can probably help with some basic maintenance.
After finishing his work, Romeo enters the gun deck, afterall, he would need more than his engineering capacities to survive in a real battle All these weapons seem huge to me, d-don't they make the good old revolvers anymore? I broke mine trying to transform it in a plasma gun *picks up a sniper rifle from the ground* Well, I think that this would... *accidently makes the gun shoot* ... but I first have to learn how to use it
((It's Owen, singular...)) Lucca chuckles at the... 'unorthodox' controls. Yeah, sure; they were 'thematically' appropriate, but did anyone tell the captain that a helm like this was for vessels that didn't need to worry about elevation? Placing herself at the pilot's seat, Lucca takes a moment to familiarize herself with the controls,
Since everything appears to be fully stocked, Winston trys to find Captain Sam. (I think I might've just broken the forums. At least for me.)
Scared, Romeo turns back to his companion O-oh i-it's nothing, I j-just suppose that safety mode serves for something
"Uhh yeah, it does..just..watch where you point that thing until you are skilled with it, and if a sniper rifles the way you're walkin', Patting his duffel bag, "I could show ya a few tricks if need be."
"Names Will, and like my nickname, I Snipe, and I can patch people up a decent bit, but dont go calling me a doctor."
N-Nice to meet you Will *gives a firm handshake* I guess we should join the rest of the crew, don't will all these armory shoot by themselves too, hehe.
