I'm sure this has been asked before (and I can't remember how it worked in Terraria). Say I make a single-player character and progress through the game with it. I then later join a multiplayer game with that same character model. Will everything in that character's inventory immediately get transferred into the new multiplayer world? Forgive my newbness as I've only researched and owned the game for less than 24 hours :)

Sorry for bumping but does anybody have an answer to this at all? Or does nobody want to answer something so noobish? It's fine either way. I'm at work at the moment and cannot test it myself until late tonight (or else I would try).

Yes. You always keep everything you gain on your character. This is also how it worked in Terraria.

So if you were to get some wood in your world, then join a MP world, you'd still have the wood. And if you got something from the MP world, you'd still have that item once you return to your single player world.

Awesome, that is very good news to hear. Thanks!
