Simple UI request - typing hotbar button while holding inventory item assigns that slot.

Desired behavior, specifically:

When I have the inventory open, and I
click a stack of bricks (or a tool or weapon),
it's now attached to cursor and I am "holding" it.

If I press a hotbar key, e.g. press "1",
the item I am "holding" is now assigned to slot 1, and
slot 1 becomes selected and active.

One-handed items can be handled with e.g. 1 for "left hand slot one" and shift-1 for "right hand slot one".

I hope this is clear. Dragging items to and from the bar is getting old with how often you have to fiddle with your bars now (since they are smaller and the switching, etc.) It's especially tedious during colony building and I find myself crafting out of the inventory routinely, which leads me to another UI suggestion (separate post).
