RELEASED Simple Extended Character Creation Mod: Now, even easier! 1.3.3

You have to update your copy of the game. You're behind.

 

I'm having a problem, whenever I go to create a character the species mod bar doesn't show up it'll end up choosing one of the species mods on it's own so I'm not able to choose one because the mod bar isn't there there's just this extra blank character spot to the right that sometimes has just 1 species in it.

 

I am having this problem too, but then again, I'm using a variety of race mods.
EDIT: It seems to caused by other race mods that have an interface for the Character creation screen. you have to delete the Starbound\mods\"conflicting race mod"\interface\title\charcreation.png

 

How come none of the race mods show up though i have installed this mod and the other mod

Hey everyone, I would like to apologize for the hiatus I have taken on this project. School started back up and has really been bogging me down. Will start looking through all my messages soon and the next update will come with the Starbound update. This will include more slots for custom species, as the ones included do not seem like enough.

 

Does this mean the arms race is on?

hey looking to try and update the Kemono race with this mod. I've discovered that the author, ODABUTSU, scripted that race to extend the base races for his by two slots which I don't like how would I go about removing the two extra slots and just keeping the Kemono in the Modded Races section?

 

If I parsed that correctly: in the Kemono mod's files, find and remove interface\windowconfig\charcreation.config.

 

Actually yeah I thought so and lol whut? he's suddenly competing with this mod????

 

There are quite a few species mods that still have their own button definitions. And technically, I'm competing too. Properly.

Tried to update the cfg to furious Koala but it doesnt seem to load proper with the new version atm.

 

Probably the lack of difficulty controls. My extender was the first mod I upadted for Furious Koala and the difficulty controls caused room to appear for four more buttons.

 

an explanation instead of snide comments would be nice. since some of us rely on your mod for our players' races in server.
Next point does the server need this file or just the race mods?
