Why this always happening to me, every single image BROKEN, Lintton, would you reupload these images.

 

Here's something I'm going to have to rebuild, I'm going to make it into a colony.

No, but there is a place for a sub to dock. It's more like a... like an oil platform.

Modified Varient of a older build. must say, the new turrets suck at their job of defense and those stupid snails keep getting on my roof regardless.

 

Well its more of a small village but I am super proud of it! It was all done in survival mode. Hopefully it inspires some other builders out there. The first pic is of the main space, the second pic showcases the sewer and sauna area below. I know its not the BOTW type, but I wanted to share something im really prud of. On the left side are the NPCs that (in my imagination) run the farm and a merchant. There is a teleporter to the left so it is easily accessible from your ship! There is an npc below in charge of the sewer. On the right side there are a few rich NPCs. The sauna is encased by a ring of lava, to heat the area and increse the ambience. My favorite part is the open are with the delicately placed wooden structures. To top it off it has all the food you could ever need and tons of storage for seeds or anything other treasures you find in the universe! Every single block was deliberately placed in the foreground and background. Hope you enjoy!

You can actually eliminate spawns within an area by filling in the background blocks up to a certain height (I tend to go 8 high to be safe) and then removing them. I'm not 100% certain that standard terrain tiles work that way (dirt, sand etc) so to be on the safe side something like wood panelling would be ideal, which also has the benefit of being easy to remove after placing it.

 

I totally got GREAT idea from this, thx anyway.

 

Hmm, might keep that in mind in the future. No point for this thing, nothing significant.

This might be considered sacrilege, but I decided to make some flowery land in the magma sea, by pouring water on the lava, covering with a layer of dirt, and growing flowers and grass. The local wildlife took this about as well as you might think, so I may have to expand the guardhouse up top if I want to keep it.



Gonna need to make plans for the remaining space.

 

In the aftermath of a total loss of all progress due to dumbness, i started over and now live in this neat little 'roid, again, unntil the ship to thhe left is ready to move in.
That means a looooong time living inside a rock.
Without a proper bed as i notice now, maybe there's a pile of isolation materials in the containers to sleep on.

 

Touchdown for the 2nd time!

Also Added in two more guard posts on the surface, with that and a network of gun turrets, its more than enough to kill anything that moves.

 

this is a house I found and then added on to with my hardcore character who later died the same day. it is unfinished i hope you all like it.

 

Those wooden 'Garden' houses make for great templates to modify or build off of.

 

Yeah i know i wish i could have worked on it more.
