Building/Ship Show off your house :D

The dome of my space base, in preparation for inhabitants!



Each features a fully lockable apartment, rigged lighting, and access to bathrooms that you can't enter if someone is already in 'em. There's also a functioning airlock to the space base, and I'm heading towards building a hangar / docking bay for visiting ships. Seeing as you can't actually fly ships places I'll probably build a ship docked already. Green base needs more furnishing, and aside from the 3 rooms, hall, and bathroom, nothing there is done. Might actually go back and steal some staircases from other people in this thread, there are some handsome-looking spiral staircase ideas that I'd love to steal

I built this awhile ago. It's just a house for my Apex.[DOUBLEPOST=1435412490][/DOUBLEPOST]This is an underwater outpost I made.

This is the entrance.

To reach the actual outpost, you need to go down a really long tube.

I have no idea what this room's function is. It just has a teleporter and a Starbound arcade machine.

This is the shopping area. The first shop is the restaurant, followed by a book/magazine store and the bathrooms.
From the shopping area, there is a small tunnel leading to the cafeteria. This is the cafeteria. Now we see the guard tower and the prison. This is where we store several prisoners. Located right next to the prison is the housing area. Homeless people, refugees, and travelers all stay here.

After seeing awesome builds in this thread, I feel ashamed of myself. I don't even have a house and my ship..well, my ship is.. Just take a look for yourselves. Before you look, I can explain, It's because I'm a pure explorer at the moment. But if the colonization update will be released, I will halt my exploration and begin with my builds.

I'll try building my moonbase right now. I'm running out of fuel after 25 planets visited anyway.

 

Ok, like I promised, I'll be building a moon base.
This is just a WIP. I'll just show you my progress at the moment.
And oh, I just want to point out that I don't have any mods. Purist vanilla for now.

I didn't know building would be expensive! Though I still have a lot of voxels in my ship bank.

really loving what u doing there, especially the half broken attic part. oh and where u got all those pretty little items??
seriously though, i see window 7 and 8 dont work that well with bricks, i should fix this in the next update.
if u find bugs or smth like that, feel free to point them out.
