Building/Ship Show off your house :D

Wow, one of the best I've seen on this thread so far, great work!

 

I don't think it's ever possible to really finish a house, since there is always room for some improvement. Right now this is what mine looks like:

How do you take a screenshot?

 

Press F12, then in your Steam Library go to Starbound, then Screenshots, upload the one you like, copy the URL, and paste it to the forums using the Image tool.

 

oh...is there a way to reassign what button it is? I'm on a laptop, and my f12 button turns my wireless on and off. If I hit f12 my internet will shut off. Its a really stupid design (and feature for that matter, not sure why I need to be able to do that).

You can change screenshot button in Steam settings.

 

Pretty awesome, glad you cleaned up one of those horrible abandoned prisons and made it much nicer.
EDIT:

That's only on Mac.

 

I can't seem to change it. I go to settings - in game and the screenshot shortcut key says f12, but if I click it or hit a different button, it switches to none and I can't set a different key. Am I doing something wrong?

I guess I'm starting to get the two OS's confused.

 

I don't know, I never change it.

 

Something else might already be set to the key your trying to set it too.

 

So this is my first house, on the first planet, with my first character the Apex scientist/explorer Dodger. I actually found an Apex lab not ten steps from my landing zone, and simply moved in and expanded it a bit.


This is my second character, also on the first planet, the Floran renegade Spriggin. Once again not ten steps from my landing zone I found an Avian house, though this time it was occupied by a single, unarmed and unarmored Avian. Spriggin decided he wanted the house, so he killed the Avian and took it for himself



Eventually I'll build my own base, but for now I'll just occupy these. After all, why break your back building a house, when someone else has done the work for you?
