Love the haphazard feel of the first one. Looks more natural and lived in.

 

Is that a mod or stock? I couldn't knock down my ships walls.

This is what i've been working on lately , its nowhere near done, lighting still needs to be fixed , nor am i happy with certain parts yet, but i guess its a start of a nice ship


the mod is in the mod section of the forums ,called sandbox ship


Also, everyone who posted on here, i kind of need your opinion on something,
would it be a nice idea, for me, to make a version 2.0 on this thread, with everyone's builds in spoiler tags on page 1?

My first try, nothing special.. But Floran likesss ssstolen furniture! And Floran like to point out: I have ssstolen toilet! I am civilized!

 

Wait the doc now works on the ship? :O, nice! i have yet to get any of the other npc's though xD

 

i like to keep it simple

 

i too keep all my crafting items, materials, armour and weapons on the ship. you waste too much fuel going back and forth from a real home.
i only have a house for farming, and to stash building blocks and furniture/decorative items.


i like to build things, but i like them to be practical. basically i keep my weapons, armour, crafting stuff and materials on my ship. you don't need THAT much storage. i've got 6 small chests.
i use my house for farming food and to keep my vanity items/decorative items.

Its a mod, called sandbox ship , which allows you to customize your ship how you want it , so yeah, im flying around in that thing

I haven't found a place to settle yet ,so my ship is my home.

 

This is my ship, I actually have full operation out of it thx to the way I designed it, and it's so sleek I'm actually quite pleased with not building anything on planets yet until I have an abundance of metallic styled blocks. Either way, this character is my new floran "EdenHack" she has taken a liking to machinery over society after all the conflict between her people and other races, now she travels the stars searching for ancient technology and shines as a beacon for other florans that their race can succeed among the star dwellers of the other species.

 

I built this one fast just before the first wipe.
It's supposed to be a small HQ with decontamination chambers at the sides, a landing pad (on which you land when beaming down. Basically conceived at the last second so I could avoid getting fried to death) on the top right, an observation/monitoring center below and a control center above.
