Just finished my early game Hylotl Home any thoughts?

 

I saw this and instantly went here.

I suppose the one quibble I have with it would be that wooden blinds and paper walls aren't really that effective at holding back literally tons of seawater.

So do I, m8, but it's actually working hahaha I thought of building a glass basement, but it wouldn't be this pretty. Also, for role playing sake, I like thinking that there IS glass behind all those paper walls and wooden blindings

 

Well, there's a pic of what was originally my main base:


At the end of the hall that you can see in one side, I built a bath.

Now my Avian moved to a nearby Glitch fortress that I re-furnished, but I kept this one as my main storage. And of course, a Night view of the base.

 

Haven't posted on this thread in forever, I come to post a recent build of mine, but the first thing I see is @Pohany's fantastic airship which instantly trumps mine IMO.

 

Such wonderful airship builds lately, I figured I'd post mine too to add to the fleet.

 

Hey @Pohany are those bombs attached to the airship a custom sprite? I remember you saying before that some props included in your builds are custom. If they're from a mod pls share- I NEED those things!!

 

Deep Ice Cave Engineering (DICE) Outpost

i found a planet, with ice biome and liquid nitrogen instead of lava in the deepest level of the planet.
i thought it was cool to make an outpost in here overhanging tied to icy blocks above, because its full of liquid nitrogen below.

I have had this place for years. Dr. Norris hangs out here while not adventuring. It has all the amenities, and is located on a remote star: Alnassi Morrass 2.
