technically not a house, buuut my rest stop is close enough, right? ( i do have a few house builds before, but i didn't take any pictures of them ;w; )
Those signs... Are those from easel? Or are they from a mod? If a mod, is it available off of steam workshop?
Tinkerer's home, post-Ruin version. Found a nice little barren planet and turned it into a farm, complete with a little forge. I would imagine, in game, that Tinkerer decided to spend the rest of her days in this place, occasionally exploring places like she used to... But she's getting old and rusty, and she can't do a lot of feats she did in her youth. Her forge is the little hobby corner of hers, where she makes armory and other tidbits for visitors. And when it's all done, she writes some sort of an autobiography and hopes to release it sometime soon. I just made this as fast as I can and I can't be bothered to edit out the UI lol i'm too sleepy to do that It is a bit... barren, but it's good enough for something I made on and off over the weekend. 60 Moth Traps, 5 of every kind of animals that you can buy on Terramart [maybe 4 of each for the chickens? I forgot...], some random plants, and that's all! I need to look for more seeds though, especially for my underwater farm.It nets me around 1000-2000 pixels with each shipment [the extracts I got from the fluffalos, the eggs and milk, some of the fruits], or around 3000 if I also included the silk I got from the Moth Farm. I wanted to make her house as ~Medieval~ as possible, and that included stealing a pot, some hay stacks, and some furnaces from an evil Glitch castle. After I killed all of its inhabitants obviously. And I keep my high tech stuff as low as I could. All the mods that I used [that's visible] are the Zoom Level mod and the Cutebound mod. I think googling them will give you the actual mod. And yes, I will release the backstory of Tinkerer someday. When I'm satisfied with the result...
Looks awesome, I tried to set up something similar but i kept running into chunks unloading causing errors.

This was supposed to be by science base with tenants for some extra income, but it has grown too large and is quite bothersome to maintain, and my game slows down a little here now which I would like to avoid. Hopefully my next base will be smaller... HA! AS IF! Welcome to Paradise.
I thought it'd be cool to start a new character on Hardcore. And for that, I'd take things easy, I'd get the safest route to objectives even if that would take much longer. Time to start a new base: Nice base, right? Aesthetically pleasant, relatively cheap and totally safe (the flying mobs are passive and the ground ones can't reach this base atop a hill). Right, but you know what? I could do better. Then started searching for more elaborate materials on the same system and ended up dying. Good thing I had the coordinates written down, created a character with the same physical appearance (though in casual mode, this time) and went back to my building project. Here's the final result: I think I went a little overboard in the wood usage, but fear not, only a few less than 6000 wooden logs were used. Probably. But they were all from this space-efficient forest I planted to the left. I found most of the "Ornate" blocks in a Hylotl village on a planet on the same system and the glass I found deep underground on this very planet. All the materials were manually gathered/crafted, didn't even activate the admin mode, this time. I'm only sad that I couldn't find clay at all. =(
