I see they have invisible scanners. I might get it for just that.

 

I do know base Starbound has invisible prox scanners that are basically a 2 wide invisible line that trigger when you cross it.
They prevent other objects from being placed there though. Sadness.

 

You mean Prox Scanners, or some unobtainable thing, like those scanners that open the doors in the outpost? You know how to obtain those invisible ones?

 

Turn on the /admin mode.
Type "/spawnitem invisibleproximitysensor (how many)" and voilà.

Ah yes, the time-tested solution: Stealing-- I mean, studying what exists.
And the train wheels do look really cool. I'm not so good at depth shading in spriting. Most of my sprites are crude mashes of what already exists in what I'm spriting for.
(Based on the Air Alarm sprite from SS13)
Though I have made some original sprites and I do like them.

As for building, basically what I'm doing with my spaceships and what I did with my sub then.

Oh well, here is something i worked on right before the wipe that happened recently.
I have a building fetish/obsession and spend a lot of time doing detailing.

My thought? Very impressive.

I find that rails actually make for nice decorations, ranging from supporting things or hanging things with them, to hand rails and such.

I really like the windmill, looks really nice.

 

Appreciate the feedback. Obviously, I'm not the best and improving is the biggest thing on my mind, so it really helps. The visible example helps ever more.

Starting work on a station/colony with all the trimmings to properly expand.

Though I'm running into a shortage of durasteel.

I'm running into something where I cannot zoom out past the limits with the config file.
