I love planting gardens and forests, and I'm sure there's a few of you out there who love it too, so I thought I'd start a thread just for that! This is a community garden for anyone hanging out at my servers spawn world...
Really pretty, the both of you! EarlGrey the reed lamps and healing water compliment the japanese garden serenity nicely. I'm all about the farming. I tend to plant crops at every planet since they're ready by the time you come back out of the caves. I've been wanting to do a biome-specific garden for a while, so this thread inspired me to see what would happen. I highly recommend turrents to keep the birds away. Unfortunately, they shoot the pollinators as well. :/ These next two areas are less finished, but the concept is there. Wheat! Glorious, endless fields of wheat! I used to hate wheat since it multiplied so fast, but with becoming addicted to climbing ropes and having a pet snake that loves carrot bread more than me... well, I have come to appreciate the wheat.
Well I'm using the term 'farm' loosely in this instance, but here's the hydroponics facility for the Solus-Tera station on the Orion's Edge RP server.
This is the Sub-terranian basemente of my castle, it feeds all the habitants of it ( it's still a work in progress)
