Oh, thanks! Guess I'll go with the first idea then.. I'm just scared of regretting it, because I'm still not sure if I want paths that are 1 block, 2 blocks or 3 blocks wide :/
Also, what's this big thing at the bottom filled with hay?

 

It's just wooden flooring with hay, on top of it is the cheese maker, etc. Recipe from Robin's shop.

I prefer 2 tiles wide, makes it easier to mount and dismount the horse and cause the pet loves to block a tile.

Still working what I'm going to do with the front of my house, but since I'm still expanding my beer/wine space, it may take a while. (experimenting with slimes =p) and the barn was just to get truffle, I will probably remove it since I´m coop master =X

Damn witch cursed my hutch and turned all my purple slimes to black slimes... /cry

 

There's a forest going on the western part of my farm and I don't think I can ever clear it. I think I'll never clear it.

After seeing all of these farms, I realize that I don't yet have a single sprinkler. ... I fear the facepalming of my farm would be a bit too much to bear for some of ya.

 

I managed to get to the point where I have nothing but iridium sprinklers

 

I really like how organised everyone's crops and sprinklers are. And your characters, they're looking good too. Can I show off these pics in a video about people's Stardew Valley farms? I started a new game for videos so it's a bit early on. Really proud of my fertilised cabbages though!

 

This isn't mine, I found it on imgur and dunno who's the author.. but I kinda like it and decided to use it as base template for my farm.

here's mine still have a lot to do on left side though.

 

It's autumn now but nothing much has changed; layout is still pretty much the same, got a few more sprinklers and animals, and the pine forest is still there (I have no plans of clearing it!)

 

looking at everyone elses my farm looks really scrappy, but i like having the twisty paths and im intending to have a big meadow
i decided to go livestock over crops, and plan to spend the winter saving up to upgrade my barn and coop in spring. my cows are called Romy and Michelle and my favourite chicken is called Faustus. my cat is Victoire

 

I'm not going for optimization or anything, I feel that would ruin the fun for me. I just want a simple little farm to do my simple little farming thing

On my second Spring. I might have gone a bit overboard with the flooring, but I like the pattern I have.
