Spring time farm and harvest.










Spring time harvest results. Been saving everything gathered and shipping on the 28th to get an idea of how profitable my farm has become. Summer and Fall are definitely the biggest money makers for me. Blueberries being the most profitable crop that I plant. Winter I mostly mine in the skull caverns.

 

How did you get that many giant mushrooms?

 

Just natural growth (with a little help) - I decided early on that I wanted a mushroom area area, purely for aesthetic reasons, no real practical benefit. As soon as I had my first one I cleared the area around it of any trees so that any mushroom seeds dropped could grow. As more mushrooms sprung up I cleared a bigger and bigger area around them, with no tree seeds or saplings for competition it snowballed pretty quickly.

 

oh you lucky dog. I still haven't seen a single giant mushroom in the whole game.

I really don't wanna post my current farm.. I've literally just let grass grow wild around my barn/brewery and coop. The area I want are segmented off with cobblestone.....but it's a fishing playthrough mostly so I basically have nothing on my farm.

 

Oh, I like where your Barn and Coop are, how you fenced them... And I so love the trees around the greenhouse!


Well, here is my farm, frankensteined together. I'm using Tego's Stardew Expansion and (mostly selfmade) retextures and recolors.

 

Thanks! My biggest issue is figuring out what to put in that cornor...

Anyway, I like yours too! All the red is a bit hard on the eyes but otherwise the design is really nice. It feels very busy..but not in a bad way.

 

My creation. It's setup for profits, with a 773 crops field, 17 bee houses (with flowers, very important), 24 animals, a starfruit wine setup in the greenhouse and some 30-35 ish fruit trees for colours.

 

Not bad! Maybe a bit too much stonepath but still. Also, none of those trees are going to grow with tile around them.

 

Oh of course *facepalm* forgot that the fruit trees acts different than the other trees. Ah well, guess they'll get replaced by maple trees instead then

Actually, as far as I know? Normal trees won't grow with stuff around them, either. I -might- be wrong.

 

This was my first ever melon harvest and mega crop in the game, and needless to say I'm satisfied.

 

It's all about the money

They do, the trees up at the greenhouse are growing quite nicely so they're not as strict about it.
