I have always wanted to build a big colony and awesome colony of my own, my goal for now is to build on highest tier planets for best rent purpose, but I am not there yet (at Hylotl stage now) But before all that, I would really love to see all your creations (I love to admire other people's creations/builds) So.... Big or small Pretty or Ugly High tier or low tier Rich or poor I don't care, just.. SHOW ME YOUR COLONY!!
You should be a level designer for this game so they can make RNG colonies spawning on different planets O wO
I will post 2 or 3 of my colonies here as soon as I find a proper way to cut them into several pictures (I have them each forming a huge image that can't be posted) This is just a reminder to myself. I like building colonies too!
I want this to become a megathread. Is there a way to make huge screenshots without sacrificing resolution? I have seen a few of those... Besides, my biggest colony is like 6 homes and a farm.
I found some things that supposedly help with taking bigger screenshots: You can change the zoom levels in the game's code or you can download the extra zoom mod. Apparently Starbounded Web Viewer can help too but I have no idea what it is... Now that we have a way to take bigger screenshots... SHOW ME YOUR COLONY!!
My pc is a hot mess as well but if you don't move at all you should be able to take the screenshot and then set the zoom lower again. Fun fact: I was electrocuted by a toaster once!
I usually hit the 0.001fps when doing simple tasks like going through the kitchen counter or pixel printer menus. They have been knkwn to be laggy but my computer always thinks the game crashed when in reality it's just lagging.
Now that I have slightly further zoom levels I can show off my two colonies! Can someone please explain why the images are so small?
Hmm...I use snipping tool and paste them then upload them as thumbnails that way, they keep their size xD (small monitor 1366 x 768)
