Shovels they will mine grass block and keep the grass so you can transport it to different planet so you can get any type of grass without having to grow it also if there is a plant on the block once you put it down there will still be there so you don't need to grow it all. Hope you liked the idea sorry about any spelling errors. May be short but I think a shovel has a tool would be a good thing.
I voted for "no" because its SPACE. We dont need shovels to dig and pickaxes to mine beacause we can use super-tech-diamond drills of just tell our robots to do that(i hope it will be an option in the game). But, from the other side, at the early stage of the game i will be probably only option to use shovels and pickaxes instead of drills and wooden sticks instead of laser guns. So, in conlusion, its both yes and no.
