Should Starbound include some Terraria references?

I would loved to see the rabbits from Terraria. There's something about the exploding corpses and sound that amused me, although people may not recognize it as immediate as the Guide.

Well yeah the true anwser is still no.

I think it should be something subtle but makes you smile when you see it, like maybe if you were roaming the many planets and you found the skeleton of the old man who turns into skeletron on the floor outside a dungeon, or maybe you get to see those dang annoying bunnies from terraria get eaten by the monsters of starbound's many worlds

 

The problem is, the robot hat was a reference in Terraria (to cave story) so it wouldn't be uniquely Terrarian.

 

I definitely want undeads at some point - maybe hidden as an easter egg - I'm pretty sure i'd miss the undead moans at some point "mooorroarrargh" ... or however it is written - man i wish i could phonetically transcribe

 

I say yes. Maybe in the form of creating a music box that will play random songs from Terraria.

 

Technically, isn't Starbound Terraria 2? like, officially no, it isn't but the creators took the IDEA of Terraria and make it into something better. It's like a sequel. I guess.

 

I love Terraria so I wouldn't care if they added anything, but if it is an Easter egg i think that would be cool!

I do not actually know, Do they even have any tie's to Re-logic anymore? are they not different now?
In the end I cant really vote on the poll because I am indecisive I do not think they really want to bring back up terraria after it got canceled
and even then there different team's so it might be a bit odd to do a reference like that.

In the end I cant give a answer, just my thoughts.
But I would not mind either way and am not predisposed to one.

 

I thought everyone already knew, there IS already a Terraria Reference in-game...

Remember the 2nd Wallpaper of the Month? It's the Mechanic Girl. Notice her Features... not quite fully human-looking huh? She's also known for a notoriously short temper that came from her Father's Side of her family...

Edit: Actually, now that I think about it... this was a long time ago... maybe it's not strange for so many people to have forgotten about it...

 

I hope it does. Things like certain weapons, textures, NPC names or certain hats would be radical.

 

That's like saying Terraria was the first platform game. The only connection the games have is Tiy.

 

I'd like to see many references (game, movie, pop-culture, etc.) , sometimes a little inside joke makes the game even more enjoyable. =)
