Should Starbound have its own Creepy Pasta???

I've never thought spaghetti to be creepy or scary..

 

How would that work, though? In first person, you can only see in front of your character, and you can be snuck up upon, but in a game like Starbound, you can see in front and behind your character, and more.

 

Something like screen flashes out of blue (once every few hours perhaps), scare chord plays, he appears behind you, another flash and he's gone. A cheap scare more than anything but it would keep things fresh

OK, I remember a good Starbound creepypasta. You've been warned.
THIS IS THE STORY OF A DAY WHERE THERE WAS ALL THIS BLOOD. A MAN WAS WALKING AROUND AND BLOOD STARTED COMING OUT OF HIM EVERYWHERE. THERE WAS SO MUCH BLOOD THAT IT FILLED UP AN ELEVATOR. HE WENT TO THE STORE AND THERE WAS JUST BLOOD ALL OVER THE PLACE! PEOPLE WERE SLIPPING IN IT AND THEY WERE ALL GROSSED OUT. HE TRIED TO GO SWIMMING AND ALL OF THE SHARKS WENT NUTS AND BITTENED EVERYBODY. HE GOT CHASED BY ALL THE VAMPIRES EVER. ONE TIME THE BLOOD GOT A KID AND A DOG. AT THE END OF THE DAY EVERYONE DECIDED THEY WOULD SEND HIM TO SPACE SO THAT HE WOULD STOP GETTING BLOOD EVERY WHERE. THE SCARIEST PART IS THAT THE MAN WAS YOU!!! (OR HE WAS A LADY IF YOU ARE A LADY) AND YOU FORGOT THAT THIS HAPPENED.

Creepy Pasta's are not intended to be made up and distributed like a children's story. They are intended to look real and not made up. I am in full favor of a secret scary thing that devs could put in though...

I have a super pro creepypasta ready too!

There was dis one man.. who would, every day, put a thred on Chucklfish forums aksing "When Wuld beta Come Out?!!!1" so mods bannd him and that was becaus no beta posts wer allowed so then he came back but his avatar was like all black and red and he culd not be banned and he posted thread again and again and he wuld not be banned by mods. Then one guy said on his thread "UY shud stop spam!" and then guy tore apart and he was died and everyon who posted was dead and Chucklefish was then empty server and forums with goasts and scary fonts and Tiy made suicide from sorrow from all the people who has bin killed so he hang up and got killed self and Starbound never came out coz of troll poster wh owas Satin himshelf!

they managed to make sonic the hedgehog a creepy pasta and it worked verry well and it was 2d.

Various legends often arise about the game (The so called Urban Legends of Zelda). With the game the size of Starbound something is bound to come up sooner or later, most likely about some sort-of super secret mob or weapon or something.

 

Just wait till the creepy mods roll in, then e might get a story... Like the Mario or Zelda ones... *shudder*

 

Or perhaps someone will say they found a map seed at [REDACTED] and [DATA EXPUNGED] happened there Couple that with a creepy mod and *ding* creepy story is ready

 

I don't see a reason why not, someone would make one if they feel for it, but actually seeing how well its made and if it will give ya a actual creepy feeling or not is a different story.

 

Remember peeps, Creepypastas are different from Crappypastas. We will get both.

Just hope we don't get that Herobrine type thing. Herobrine and BEN are creepy and all but for heaven's sake why are they treated like a requirement for writing for those games? Also why must people morph creepy characters into evil characters. Herobrine used to be some creepy ghost (of Notch's brother) that just watched from the edge of the render fog and built strange things. Now he is a malevolent force that tries to kill you and controls all the baddies.

Sorry, there is just something about when a game has so much potential to have a proper spooky story and a creepy character from one good popular one starts getting shoehorned into every single one. Kinda sucks sections on creepypasta wiki get locked because they get flooded with basically the same story over and over.

Sorry again. Just... something about that all just really irks me. I do hope starbound gets some good creepypastas and some funny crappy ones.

That almost happened to me, I thought "Gah 200 stories about the ghost of the cake Molly ate on the roadmap trolling peoples games? HELL NO!" then I thought maybe we can get a decent story like one about meeting an Avian awaiting rescue on a jungle planet then after working to help them the player finds out they had died alone of starvation 20 years prior or something. You know something actually kind of spooky (and maybe a bit touching). I voted yes in hope of some decent thought out ones.
