Should devs play the game?

Nah joke! They re our slave monkeys working their entire life on games but not being able to play it!
Its just like if you make a sandwich and you cant eat it... The worst is that you keep making the sandwich better, and the better it is, the more you want it, but you wont have it. NEVAR!!!

They should play it because when the game releases, I'll be playing it, and I know they want to play it with me. They'll hop on random servers trying to find me because they'll be too shy to ask for my server IP.

 

I completely agree. I wouldn't be surprised if they were regulars on the game when it came out.

 

Well, I sure hope that the devs play the game. I would love to see them on my server.

 

Actually it would be cool if they joined whit random accounts, whitout telling anyone who they are, play for a while, and then once they are gonna exit the server they tell you that they were devs all along.

And you end up like OH MY GOD! AND I GAVE THEM MY GUN! DEVS HAVE MY GUN! IM THE BEST PERSON IN WORLD!!!

 

I hope the Devs love my landmine meadows and sentry turret forests. Seriously, I would love to hear what they would say about a players building or their planets, and hear the comments on whether they like how a player handles a world or not.

I am pretty sure they do.

They have posted a few pictures where they have in game characters so it is very likely they are playing the game and testing it for bugs and such.

 

I think it'd be awesome and hilarious for the devs to randomly pop onto a server with completely OP gear and own everyone.

 

I hope so! And If they were anonymous it would make it a whole more mysterious!

I think its good devs play their own game, and play it with the community. I've seen so many games that could have been good, go down the crapper because the devs never play their own product, getting bug reports or listening to people whining about something, is much diffrent than putting yourself in their situation and seeing what they are experencing, it helps with balance and making the game better.
