Being a avid player of the forgotten realms, I kinda miss my short swords. I don't know why, but I always enjoyed a whacking with them. It's a shame that most other games do not have short swords, since their my favorite weapons. I just wanted to suggest this since I didn't suggest it for other games. It's kinda one of those things that I should've mentioned but didn't.
Well we discussed short swords in a couple of topics, only briefly, mentioning that they should not, in any case, be like the ones in Terraria (they were pretty much useless). I have no clue if they plan to include them, but if they do I really hope they will have their own advantages. Now that I think about it they mentioned daggers in the first explanation of the combat system, so yeah, shortswords may be in
@Drithyl Yeah Terraria's shortswords were vastly disappointing. And hopefully they differentiate daggers from shortswords.
