Ok, so after I defeated the mech the little penguin scientist didn't spawn like he was supposed to and the mech won't respawn if I restart the mission. The mission/quest has been rendered unbeatable because of this. Is there any way to resolve this?
There is. Wait 10 minutes, that's the vanilla defined timespan for a mission to reset. You can also relog, this will reset the mission immediately.
