The shockgun Is basic a shotgun however it uses electricity stored in every pellet causing enemies to sometimes be paralyzed and will then move slower. The shockgun shoots multiple electrified pellets and spreads out the farther away the pellets go. It is not good for long range and does the best damage close up. Thats a good concept. and if they gave the gun the ability to shoot electrified pellets then because of the engine of starbound there would be more guns that could shoot the pellets. so it adds to the variety of weapons.
