    I just downloaded the newest version, and I have to say that something is buggy.
    All I can say is that while on my ship, I experience some really choppy framerate issues, and it seems to be in proximity to the teleporter? I can't tell. It gets better the farther away I am from the initial spawnpoint on my ship, and doesn't effect me on the ground. I've tried placing other Teleporters, but they don't do anything to me either, so I'm not entirely certain it's the issue.

    I am running numerous other mods alongside it, however, so it could simply be a matter of clashing mods. But only with this newest update.
    Do you need my list of mods to text? Or what should I report to you that can help aside from a verbal report?

    Me And ThakyZ have experienced that issue but only when there is a hull breach the fps dips to about 5

    you drag the madtulip mod folder and the modules in a box folder into steam/steamapps/common/starbound/giraffe_storage/mods and place em in there

    The performance issues are most likely related to the life support system im afraid. I also optimized the code as good as possible. The problem is that lua is a "runtime interpreted language" as opposed to most .exe files which are precompiled. It just does execute very slow compared to precompiled programms. The scanning process of the LS units is possibly intense in calculations. The dust particles spawned by the LS system as all particle emitters are generally a performance impact.

    Typing /admin and then /debug in the chat window pops up the debug window with some performance listings on the left.:

    You can see that for my rig 10 LS Systems with ~50 hull breaks and 400 active particles (particle emitters are marked by the little red boxes) still leaves my frame and update rate at the cap of about 60 frames while running.

    I think i might make an optional patch mod for the LS system to make it run at minimum performance. that means particle emission rates will be extremly low (uggly) and the time intervall between breach scans will also be higher than the current 1s window for people with slower hardware. Im Win7x64 on a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs (with hyperthreading, only 4 physicals i think)), ~3.4GHz, 16GB Ram, GTX 570 with 4GB onboard. so thats a 4 or 5 year old system i think.

    I`ve made a No Life Support System Performance Patch available which is described and linked at the mods main page. It targets at the reported performance problems with the life support system and can be installed to deactivate the requirement for the life support system so that you can remove all life support vents and thus increase performance.

    It means you can place them in between two walls as well as between a ceiling and floor, in other words they can be placed horizontally.

    you place them inbetween a 4X2 block gap in the floor

    A question; How or When do I get acces to the research station to craft things like the Skyrail system; portable pixel printer and nanowrap bandages ? Also; is it correct that the upgrades you get via the main questline don't have any influence on the size of your ship?

    research station should be unlocked right from the start and be buildable in the shipstation. you initially lack the required materials though.

    yes the main questlines ship upgrades dont have any influence on the ship of the ship you can build with this mod.

    hmmm; that's really weird then because I simply can't build it as it doesn't even show up in the list at all for me (nor does the crew station)....
    In addition; NONE of the other crafted station displays (Fuel Hatch, Tech station) work; the only thing that's working properly for me right now are the shiplockers o_O
