yeah go ahead. Not like it's my mod!

 

Hey guys. I see everything is still working fine ?

I was away for some time busy with life and other interests. I was i.e. building LEGO with my doughter. So also something block based if you like .

Lately when we stopped adding more content i was kinda annoying or frustrated by the lua possibilities of the game. several ideas failed due to the possibilities of the lua implementation. So i thought its probably a good idea to give the devs some time to develope it further. On the other hand i think the content we have in this mod is quite well rounded out and adds nice things to the game on its own. So lets just see where starbound is going and what should (and can ) be added later on.

Anyway im like daily monitoring starbound on steam. And if they should patch and break it ill fix it soon.

were do I craft this metal press? cuz I got tier 2 and yet no metal press. I tried to craft it at the space station, metalwork station and robotic crafting table, but nothing.

Also if you installed the mod and had already gotten to tier 2 before installing the mod you need to use the star chart upgrade again.

 

The manual isn't showing up next to the crafting station, I made multiple new characters, mined everything and it's still not spawning. How can I get it if it's not spawning?

 

hey2 some dumb question right here cuz I seriously have no idea about this.How am I suppose to get races type of tiles?my hylotl ship needs it cuz I cant put woods as my ship tiles right?

 

The manual is no longer in the mod, it was redundant with the latest of updates.

you craft them at the metal press, the first tile set for them is unlocked at tier 4 and there are 2 other hull blocks to unlock at tier 5 which allow for non-sloped square sections of hull.

Crafting materials? Do you mean polymers and the other sort of basic stuff you find on the ship station? or the plates in general? If you mean the plates, you need ingots/bars of metals. To craft the racial plating all you need is copper bars, for the other plates it's steel and durasteel (both of which have 3 levels of plating) If your talking about the basic materials you find in the ship station it's some basic materials you mine or gather, silver ore, raw alien meat, the sand you cook in a furnace, and several others.

 

According to Tiy we won't have the ship upgrade stuff for quite a while. Besides that... yeah the mod is well rounded though I do feel as if it's missing a few things, some things I know it's missing because of game engine limits and unimplemented things. As for other things I can't put my finger on what it's missing.

there are two types of builders in terms of this mod: Those that wish to simply build creatively tend to use this mod as well
the other group prefers to do things step by step and save up for when they finally do build everything and change ships.
bothersome edit: -.- not sure why the hyperlink chose the whole sentence. I'm sure as well there are a range of styles but those are the two prominent ones.

 

How do I craft the ship parts and where do I get the tilesetter? I know this has to have been asked before, but I can't find the answer. The ship station only has 6 things in it.

 

you unlock parts by moving up in tiers by using the sector chips. If you already obtained all the chips you need to use them again to unlock the recipes.
