Bug/Issue Ship and World gone

Both my ship and my world have reset, so everything i built has disappeared. My character, outpost/missions, and bookmarks are all fine. Probably worth mentioning i was playing on the unstable build and don't use any mods. There are also two .fail extensions in my world file. I can't post my player and universe files, because when i use upload file it says the extensions in those files aren't allowed. Is there anything that can be done to fix this or do i just have to start over?
